Dude, I genuinely don't envy you're job. But negativity will always be a huge part of forums! Don't feel special, It is not exclusive to the TA forums. Do you think on the football365 forums, everyone talks about how great their team is every week?! Expressing how we feel is just part of human nature, and unfortunately, you are most compelled to do so when you feel angered or feel a sense of injustice! I still don't think anyone should ever stoop to the levels of trolling or rudeness. But for example, my comments on this game. I had played it for a long time to give a fair judgement and I couldn't help but feel disaapointment at what I felt had potential to be a really fun harvest moon (one of my fave games) alike for ios. This is nothing to do with free to play, just in this case, how I felt it was implemented and how I felt it negatively damaged the experience of the game. Basically it broke the golden rule of gaming, i didn't find it fun.
Quite honestly Michael Bay movies make me angry, but I just try not to talk about it I agree with everything you said. There are so many games on the app store, free and paid, that are great; you don't like this one, move on. Just remember Eli, the negative people are the most vocal. The rest of us are just enjoying, or moving to the next game in our immense backlog... or another game of VainGlory. This I can agree with 100%. Good post!
How is that possible? No one said "hey, it really sucks I can't play this on the bus, etc. and the online features are minimal anyways." The server crashing is a disaster, but even without that reminder of why online only is frustrating, it's still problematic.
I find this to be pretty freakin' cute and not time consuming. Sure, if you want a game you can play continuously hours upon hours on end, this isn't your cup of tea. But, for a fun take your time hay day/dragonvale type it's (so far) pretty good. I have to wait and see if I hit a paywall, and that's a concern. The only noticeable issue I am having is the mini game lag which is awful. (I'm on iPhone 6+ wifi and LTE so it's not my connection or phone) All in all cute - at least for now. DD is absolutely loving it and already asking me to set up a trading post to trade. So I will also say it's a bit tough to get coins. I paid like 150 for the flour and then got only ten coins as a reward which seems a tad unbalanced. At this point, I'm not ready to sink any real money into it just yet.
Long time lurker but I hardly ever post. However I discovered two related things that no one has mentioned so far in the thread: 1) when I opened up my session during my lunch break, I noticed it was raining lightly and the sky made everything appear less bright in the game. Neat touch, but it went even further. The shy continued to darken and it even feels like the rain began falling harder (although that could be me just noticing it more be cause the night time lights are on and my character is carrying a lantern which highlife the rain drops). Now that the sky has darkened, it is essentially night time. The farm is closed even though it should be open. Also, as I was traveling I came upon and was able to catch a rock fish! This means that although it may not occur all the time, it appears this is the game's way of making it so you can accomplish things that normally can only be done at night during the day. I have seen several people post about their concerns of when they can play and what they can do during those hours. It will be interesting to see if there is also a mechanic that allows daytime events to occur in evening hours. 2) I also noticed for the first time that Larona village has a sign near where you arrive that lists the conditions for the current day and two days in the future. This means it looks like you can possibly plan ahead on how to take advantage of dark skies during the day to accomplish certain tasks. Again, neat touch. I will be interested to see what other subtle features we may discover. Clearly, there has been some thought put into how this world operates.
I had the same night time during the day too. I don't know if it's on purpose or a glitch but restarting the game made it day again. (I actually needed the farm open. )
I've noticed that when I do a quest that requires me to catch a fish all the fish in the ocean disappear. Before the quest there will be four fish per island, then once I do the quest there are none. Has anyone else had the same problem?
Music is the only other medium. I used to DJ a lot and people would claim to hate certai. Types of music cause it's too popular or it's not trendy enough etc. But when you played party in the USA at a bar.... Everyone knew that damn song and acted like they loved it lol.
Devices I started Seabeard on my iPad and want to put it on my phone, can I do so without making a new account?
Make sure u are logged in to your gamecenter, it should carry over. So far the only option i see for selling clothes and hats is at the swap shop, to other players
After building the Manor visitors will sometimes ask to but clothes and furniture from you at random prices that can't be negotiated....... cheap $$%^$^#%
How do you upgrade to fishing level 2? I caught the 25 fish and accidentally clicked when the dialogue came up and didn't see what it said to do/where to go. Thanks
You have to build the Fishing Academy first but to upgrade your fisher goes away for 24hrs and you will feel that loss not being able to fish
Well said PSJ. I've been playing since the Atari 2600 and it's just amazing how far we have come along with games. Between the digital stores for the consoles and of course the AppStore, I can literally have almost any game I want at the tap of a button. It's awesome. Oh, BTW, is anybody else still having GC issues? Playing on iPhone 5 (iOS 8) and as soon as GC tries to log in, the game freezes. I had the same problem during the soft launch, so I ended up not playing until a worldwide release. I just downloaded it to start playing again and same issue. Works fine with GC off. Anybody have any tips?
