If I remember correctly, there were no extra coins involved. Only the blueprint and the materials were needed to build the warehouse. Great building to have! (In between big projects I bought the blueprint for a kennel and built it. Only to find out that the cute dog from the petshop costs 150 pearls).
Lol I noticed that too. Odd that not even 1 pet is for coins. My warehouse should be done soon. I still haven't found barrel of explosives but at least a tree remover gave me the Space I needed I still can't believe I haven't got the warrior training done yet. This is killing me lol
To the devs: I don't know if anything has changed, but I'm getting a lot of red X's and a bleeping sound when I have my character walking around. Even when there is a clear path to where I want her to go. Maybe I'm clicking too fast or too far away, but I didn't seem to have this 'problem' before.
Maybe if we ask nicely. Hand Circus, Simon, please? Please, please, please, please? Maybe if I tell you that I prefer Seabeard above Castaway Paradise?
This game has shitloads of unrealized potential. Imagine if we could eventually craft better weapons to explore with etc. <3
Hey folks, played and never signed into game center. Signed in today and now all my progress and content is gone. Any ideas?
Maybe the game save cloud-syncs using GC as a base. Once you logged on to GC, the game tries to find a savegame, doesn't find one and believes it's a fresh start. It's my guess though.
That is some broken business. If Ive been playing this long without issues and a gc sign in wrecks it all,, thats messed up
Kinda wish the dev would make it clearer that each time you cycle 'Change Minigame' it costs 1 pearl. Just lost my last 10 because I was looking for a stake from dangerous waters to rebuild my manor. Raging. EDIT: Still think Pearls should replace coins as rewards. Even in some tasks. Plenty coins from selling, but haven't been given a pearl in 3 days. I'm "Canadian" so I literally have to wait until I'm given pearls or the UK release now.
It was pretty clear to me that it cost a pearl... though I guess the first time you do it it could warn you with a popup box or something
What is the best building to complete next - fishing academy, crew house, trader house or seabeard manor? Not sure which one is most helpful.
So, after playing for a week, at first I found this game to be fun and filled with adventure and lots to do, but now I think it's quickly getting repetitive and stale. All the quests are the same, not enough monsters to battle, dungeons are so small it's more like a very very short hallway. My first week impressions tell me this game will have a very short life on app store. It had potential, but that potential was destroyed by pay walls, restrictions, unbalanced mini games, and mostly the fact that your simply repeating the same quests over and over and over. What is the benefit to all this? You get to customize your island and characters. Not even that is fun because you can only use items that appear in the shops at random. If you want a specific item your stuck waiting till the next day in hopes that it's in Stock. Same goes for the costumes. Development said that the IAP wouldnt give other people an advantage. This is a down right lie. IAP greatly affect your progress and score and gives a huge advantage to other players. Many of the iap's in the game that are cosmetic, are far too highly priced to be worth buying. Then again the price for any IAP in the game are already too high to begin with. 60$ to buy a boat for 3 crew and 1 pet??? Who seriously thought that was a smart idea?
Depends on your money warehouse is a priority leave the Manor for last the crew house is for the warrior. The fish and food vendors are a must the wood guy no good unless you craft stuff yo sell or get stuff from mini games
With no word of exaggeration IMO, this could go one of two ways. it could fade into obscurity if things stay the same or dont change much, or if things are expanded, tweaked, and upgraded (more to do, way way way more reasonable iap pricing structure etc, more exploring, more crafting, more loot, more customization) this could become really something special. I hate to be a negative Nancy but most games will go route A, and most games would flop. I really want the devs to have success though because Im not sure they really even know how much potential they are sitting on here.
Just dumped my Fisher to level up. Now I have to wait a whole 24 hours. If only I knew I would lose my main source of revenue for a whole day.... Maybe a fan wikia is due? I'd make one myself, but I keep getting errors.
Ouch not nice to hear I'll lose my fisher when I upgrade I'm currently building my 3rd grader house for the woodwork stall which I have no idea why either as the food one is pretty useless so that probably will be. I built the seabeard manor but again no idea why, I now get visitors that try to lowball me on prices. Finally I need space for another crew house, but even fmi eventually get my warrior after that I'll either have to get a new ship somehow or take either the warrior or fisherman out using up more energy to double visit places where there are fish and dungeons. This game could be great but at the minute I find myself wondering why I'm playing sadly, but sticking to it hoping to see some good balance changes.
The food stall and woodwork stall are very profitable, only if you learn recipes. The only downside is that you have to wait for an item to craft and wait for it to sell as well.
The crafting costs seem to usually negate most of the reward for the items though? Or have you found some good ones? So I purchased 1 explosive barrel for 800 a few days ago and just won my first one! Actually won a race for a change on the hard difficulty. Although I've still never seen dynamite for the smaller rocks?
