Welcome wiz. Don't rush the game though since the folks who started the game are in a definite holding pattern til the next set of islands are released. So do take your time. There is a lot to do. So no need to rush. The one item that doesn't get mentioned enough is the fact that there is some clothing made only for your created male or female character. So do take that into consideration. Since later (not sure when) on in the game you can house your clothing collection.
Anyone know how to restart your game? I only played for a short time and would like to start fresh since I do not recall much about the game. Uninstalling and removing the game center data did not help. Any ideas?
Other than to verify that you did remove the data, that normally would be how to restart. Guess you could ask the developers if they could reset the game for you.
While they were unable to reset my game, they did email me instructions on how to start fresh which worked flawlessly. I was very pleased with their response time.
Issue with smuggling quests Hi guys! I'm stuck - help! I'm supposed to do some smuggling for Mirella Gourmet but there're no smuggling quests around. i've been trying for days now to look for them both in the Smugglers' den and in Seadog Cove but nothing. Is this a bug? Thanks
Trust me I've been trying at almost any time but nothing. Could it be that I'm missing something to unlock these quests? I haven't had smuggling quests available for a while...
Have you ever been able to do a smuggling quest? How far along in the game are you? Have you been tasked with upgrading your ship yet? It's been a while, but I'm pretty sure smuggling quests only pop up once you reach a certain point in the overall quest line.
How does rain work? I check the weather in Larona Village but I rarely see it actually rain in the islands, I'm willing to complete the animal albums but every time I check in the appropriate time, it's not raining in the world.
On the hour, the weather can change. So if could be raining at 10 am but at 11 am it might not. Weather changes only at the top of the hour.
Have notice this the past few days After I put a clod on the machine and thus wait 2 hours, there is no item to pick up. The first time it happen, I thought I didn't put another clod on the machine. But have seen it now happen twice today as well as one time yesterday. Can't find any pattern to it either ther than you wait 2 hours and then nothing appears. Very odd..
I believe the first two need to be on a Sunday and the latter one at night. But if you have confetti at Carnival Rock, you will never see the anteater.
I've checked the info on Seabeard Wiki, it doesn't say anything about being Sunday, but nevertheless, the last rainy day I had was a Sunday and none of them were available in their locations.
Well I can't explain why. Don't forget that wiki can be updated by anyone so do take it with a grain of salt.
I think the mystery bird might be at a certain day or time just like the beaver and the porcupine. Like maybe a weekend rainy day. I also can't wait for the new islands and the gate of nook. By the way, what is that big building at the back of ur island? It might be connected to seabeard's disappearence
I've gotten all of the birds. So PM me which one you didnt get yet and I can give you a clue where (if I can remember) The anteater us only one not gotten due to the stupid glitch of raining confetti vs rain in raining days!! Sure be nice to know if there will be a new update soon. Nothing but silence...
It's the Doza bird that's not the crow, the owl, the swamp bird, the eagle, or the lark I think it's on the bottom right of the birds list. Also, if u look at the right hand bottom corner of whiseman reef you'll see "unstable cliffs" and a message in a bottle. I wonder what that is.
Cofunguy, Can you please post the info on the mystery bird in this thread? It's been driving people nuts on this board and others. In the photo collection at the BEAKS hq, it is the bird below the Stormwind Eagle. A name would be great. An island would be better. Thanks!
