I can't seem to get a photo of my crew for the Geodo quest asking for a photo of Etta Cornelius. It takes the photo, but none of the crew are labeled, therefore aren't usable for the quest. Anyone else have this issue?
Are you sure Etta is part of your crew? If so, try to take a picture with very little behind the crew ( ie camera picture toward the ocean) and get as many of the crew in the picture. If that doesn't work, I'm clueless on what is going on. The only other idea is to close the app and relaunch and try again.
I haven't gotten that far in the quest line (damn ore fish) but I tried to take a picture of crew members and can't get it to work either. If they are in my party they don't show up in pictures at all. This is good, though, or I'd never be able to take other pictures with them all in the way. If I send them back to the island they show up on film, but don't get "named." Seems like I've got the same trouble. I guess I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

I have the boat with 3 crew member spots, and yes, for some reason I can take all 4 of my crew with me everywhere. Don't know why. Originally I couldn't but then about 5 days all of the sudden I was on my home island going to switch out crew and noticed all my crew were in line. No complaints on that but I haven't had to upgrade anyone yet, so not sure if it will glitch like yours did.
I want to clarify this for stupidity: The reason I couldn't store all those outfits is because.......(wait for it).....I already owned them! Ugh. I'm an idiot. I wasn't paying attention and just buying stuff, then it got to the point that I had so many things it wouldn't store, so I looked at what I already had and realized it was because I already had those things in my clothing/hat/glasses storage EXCEPT: pet clothing doesn't have a place to store yet.
On any day or night when it is raining, go up to the top and wander around several times. I don't always see it either, but sometimes after I pop out of the temple, I see it. One thing I noticed is that if you take the picture then accidentally delete it or it didn't quite capture the beaver to ID it, then you are hosed. The beaver is a one-shot wonder and disappears (at least mine does) after the shot...for a while...if it's still raining, I had him come back once. Like others, I keep a beaver always in my photo collection now. I have 5 slots, and use 4 of them for hard to find animals that seem to garner lots of quest requests.
Has anyone finished all the new animals/birds in Doza? I have one bird left I can't seem to find at night, during the day, on weekends, in the rain, in the morning, etc. It's a regular looking bird icon. I have the Crow, Midnight Owl, Stormwind Eagle, Swamp Glider, and the Blue-Breasted Lark. I have one animal left. I have the Anteater, Lemming, Viper Snake, Shrew, Black Fox, Weasel, Mole Rat, Coati and Raccoon Dog. I'm missing something that looks like it will be a variation of a badger....I read somewhere a wolverine in Abundore Quarry at night in the rain, but no luck yet. Anyone have those missing ones and any idea where to find them?
Yes...it's the same with me. Maybe you should put on hold to upgrade them. Imho you should never send them home if you want to use it to your advantage. And just the other day I notice whenever I log in my game there's 2 people following me on my list crew while I know I havent have any quest yet. Usually having fugitive quest or taxi quest helps. They will join the fugitive in the prison or the people when it arrive on their destination. Do you know if the people from the toucharcade or seabeard is in the forum? I just hope they can fix it. #
Upgrading Just in case: I, too, was running around with all 5 guys on my boat. Then it was time to level up my miner. Hearing that there were issues, I sent everyone home and entered the miner academy with just the miner. He upgraded just fine (24 hrs like the rest). The issue arose then where I couldn't board my boat, but when I rebooted all was fine....but I can't take everyone anymore. It was nice while it lasted!
Well only pet clothing that is a scarf or bow (lower body of let) doesn't have a spot. Just seems odd they didn't put them in the outfit/suit building for the pets. But seems they want to build a separate building for them when putting them in this building makes the most sense!! And one can easily buy up all the pet items that can be bought with coins since there are very few of them. So I have stopped buying the pet items and concentrated on the people items. Have most of the glasses spots filled ( need just 10 but I know they all require pearls to buy ;(. And still have quite a lot of uniforms to do. Yes I know all to familiar with getting duplicate clothing items. That is why I write down the item and color traits and go look to see if I have it in the respective building. Since I know coins go very fast to use and no need to waste them on something I have.
So you exploit a bug on the boat and don't think there will be issue by using this exploit?? So I would recommend not using it and stick to swapping out the fisherman and fighter. Since I can suspect there will be more people that you can hire and thus why the limitation of 3 people in the ship. This is just based on the land in the new area on the main island. I have no knowledge if there is and is based on speculation. And it is always better to report the issue directly to the developer than in a forum that is not run by them. Thus guaranteeing they know about it. Yes I know they haven't been great in replies but that is a different issue.
Another help I'm stuck post. I'm on the Guedo quest, and I guess I need to get the miner, but to do that I need to build a crew house. The plans are not available on the Larona Village (says coming soon). What do I do? Am I missing something?
You shouldn't have to guess. What are the quests you have at the top of your quest list? The green ones are your main quest.
I have three. Give strawberry cake, learn metalwork from Geodo, and learn to make power shake. The strawberry cake is part of the cooking quest line i guess but would like to advance on the metal work quest line and am stuck.
They are all tied together. Keep working on the one or ones that you can do and others will open up. There were several times that it worked like that on the original islands, but it's been long enough for some of us that it's easy to forget that.
Thanks for the tip on the shrew! I wouldn't have thought to look there! I have also searched high and low for the two that we are missing - I'm going to try the wee hours in the morning and see if that helps
