App info is currently processing and/or the app is not yet fully available for sale on the US App Store.
I'm guessing it just runs something that does nothing but crank up the processor so the battery drains at a high rate, thereby warming up quickly. Don't know, but that would be the easiest way I could think of to warm things up.
I'm just gonna grab the screenshots and then I can do exactly the same thing from within Photos app without the $1 price tag.
Simple: it doesn't. Apps like this are made for people too ignorant to use a shred of common sense. They see the title, think it sounds cool, ignore the 1 star ratings, and buy it.
The app's description clearly acknowledges that it doesn't actually heat the screen. This is exactly the kind of silly app, with nice screenshots, potential mainstream appeal, and minimal development costs that can do well in the AppStore with almost no risk on the part of the developer. And given that it's generating buzz just by people wondering what the heck it is or how it works it's sure to get plenty of impulse buys. I hope they make a bundle of cash. And yeah, it'll no doubt get slammed with many 1 star ratings that won't have any effect on its sales
Pretty much. The frustrating thing is, I can think of about 15 apps that are far more deserving than this piece of garbage.
Meh, I thought as much. Well, Apple are cracking down on apps with "minimal functionality", so I doubt this'll last very long.
So this is basically an app with 4 pictures copied from the internet. And Apple approved of this? Do they have infinite server space or something? Wow I thought those Khalid Shaikh apps were bad. Compared to this piece of trash those KS apps are all masterpieces.
