Scrappers is a fast paced, action platformer full of bright cozy environments, high powered weapons and tricky situations. Currently under development with Beta testing starting October. We will update this forum with development concept art, screen shots & info. Please feel free to provide feedback, suggestions or whatever else whenever you like. Your help and support would be greatly appreciated. We have spent 1,5 years developing Scrappers and in that time have gone through some pretty large iterations, which is evident in its re-naming; Evolympics followed by Cat Conspiracies and finally Scrappers. We are a small, independent studio with limited resources and unfortunately i cannot say that all the development time over the past 1,5 years has gone directly into the game we have today, but i can say that it has led us to where we are; through brainstorms, debates, mock-ups, test builds, development hurdles, side tracks, focus groups and user testing we formulated a recipe that we are extremely excited about and are busily at work making. Now, we would like to give you the opportunity to follow us in our last few months before launch and hopefully contribute in these final stages as well. Copenhagen Environment - Nyhavn This week Soren has been working on the Copenhagen Environment starting out with Nyhavn, which is the historic and central harbour of Copenhagen. Now a days Nyhavn hosts a huge amount of tourists during the summer months and a bitterly cold wind for the rest of the year. This is the first screen shot of the 3D buildings under development. To project the right feeling into the game we want the environments to be loud and bright when necessary (such as with Nyhavn), however this presents problems with keeping easy focus on the foreground platforms, objects, gun fire and NPCs. We have tried a few different approaches including an image effect to slightly blur the background, but this was too heavy for mobile (creating lag on many devices) plus diluted the background too much. We are currently trying to find new alternatives. Please let us know if you have some ideas this or some feedback on the environment. (There is obviously still a lot of development to be done but should have a finished Nyhavn by mid next week)
Gun Shed Here is the concept art for our gun shed, where you can strap up ready for action. Soren is pretty confident the complete 3D model with textures can be done today. Can't wait to see it!

Not So Stealth It may look dopey but this guard dog can pack a pretty mean bite! Possibly though you could use this to your advantage
Electrical hazard A new hazard added in. Exposed electrical wires will shock anything they come into contact with. Water expands the contact area and flammable liquids will ignite when they are in direct contact with the wires.
I dont know look little bit old to date in my opinion, can you add a full gameplay video here, to feel the game little bit more and see what this game should be looked in full playable mode, otherwise it does look interesting, maybe you should go with 2d graphics beside 3d it might be look more sharp that way but this is only my opinion
Graphics Thanks for your feedback Shiny. We are still testing the different background and foreground possibilities and will be using a combination of 2D and 3D. We have decided to increase the 2D in the background and increase interactive 3D in foreground. We will make some videos in the next few weeks to illustrate this and general gameplay.
New Environment Here is the new environment we have been working on. We focused on making it feel alive and fresh while still keeping its heritage (it's Nyhavn in Copenhagen, Denmark). Will record a video of it shortly.
