I just don't have a clue how grades work so I'm trying to get an idea I think I was about 6 years old when school started giving me homework.
oh no they gave homework. I was just lazy and didnt feel like doing it (probably). But I recall in 5th grade i didnt do like 50% of the homework and my teacher didnt give a shit.
I kinda got screwed over when it came to schooling, I started when I was 3 in a private school, then I had to leave it for a public school when I was 8 and suddenly the homework stopped (which was odd, most schools did give homework but our headmaster didn't believe in it) and all the classwork got a lot easier... so much easier I promptly forgot how to do long multiplication/division and the like, and I didn't get to learn it again until 4 years later going into secondary school. Messed me up a little and I never quite recovered the skills I had learning it when I was young.
It depends are where you go. I for one am going to a freakin' hard prep school. Some of the classes, if you learn their groove, are easy to BS half the time and still get an A, but the other half you have to work your ass off. Then there're the classes you have to work your ass off every single damn day. I had to drop chem 2 and go into chem 1 because it was sucking up too much time making every single one of my grades drop. People that failed here are getting As in public and even some private schools. The thing with this school is that it's pricey as ****. Some parents are paying more money than they have to send their kids here. The public schools, though... there are some out there that actually do a good job at educating, but then again, they're usually in really good locales. It's starting to be that education is for the privileged. Really messed up if you ask me.
isnt everything messed up now...? All my schools systems that i feed into are like 1 of the top in the nation, the next county or feeding school over, and they fail!!! Like wow...whats up? But yes, my teachers actually accept people prooving points against them
Different standards in different schools. Not that many are top in the nation (obviously ). They sugarcoat if for parents most of the time.
In IB schools, you get graded from 1 - 7 (instead of A+, A-, etc.). I guess a 7 is basically an A/A+ . . . 4 is an average mark (I think that's a C in most schools, but I'm not sure). If you get a 4 in every subject you take in Grade 12 (last year of high school), you get your IB diploma and most universities will let you skip first year university. I guess you could call it difficult.
Im in college and we have to do key skills aswell as the course were on. We have to do english, soboring.
i go to Ridge High School, and if anyone listens to Collie Buddz, in the song Come Around, he DEFINITELY says my schools name.. just listen for it. ...FYI
school sucks so bad I hate it especially since i was stupid enough to take every honors class I could for college credits. It's impossible sometimes.
You're so unbelievably funny and clever kijib. I thank God everyday for blessing us with a comical genius like yourself.
