Not jumping on it right away because I have to finish and delete some other games before I keep adding. But I've been looking to scratch my Tri-Peak Deluxe itch for some time now. Looks polished, couple of good reviews, cheap ($2).

    Inviting the dev.

Hmm. thanks for pointing this game out. My favorite type of solitaire, I already own TriniTowers, Metal Tri-Peaks, Tri-Peaks in Paradise, 3 Towers. Tri-Peaks in Paradise is the best game of them overall. This new one looks good, and it appears to have an UNDO button, something most of the other tripeaks apps are lacking.

    Question for Freedog;

Are TriniTowers, Metal Tri-Peaks, Tri-Peaks in Paradise and 3 Towers easy to learn?
Only Solitaire game i ever played is Klondike.

TriPeaks is an easy game to play. I learned within a couple minutes on POGO/AOL games. I don't have Scarab Solitaire yet, but I can recommend Tri-Peaks in Paradise to you.

Of all the Tri-peaks games I have played, this is the best by far. I love it. Highly recommended. I have NOT played

TriniTowers, Metal Tri-Peaks, Tri-Peaks in Paradise and 3 Towers.

It looks polished. However, it seems that it does not support Vegas rules, does it?

    More about Vegas rules here.

What is interesting is that TriPeaks with Vegas rules is something old. I've played in Windows 95. Recently I have played a version for Palm. Right now iPhones does not have any.

I've contacted Scarab developer before the release but I didn't get any reply about Vegas rules.

The Vegas variation is the best TriPeaks!

I mean, I read that, but that sounds like the only Tri-peak I know. Is the scoring the only difference?

Yes. The scoring is the only difference. The game is still the old and nice TriPeaks.

In Vegas Rules there's no levels. Your goal is to make as much money as possible. Statistics is a feature always present in this variation.

I prefer the DS version where there's unlimited levels and each level gives you less time per level to finish it (and let the dev know to see if he incorporates it into Scarab).

A word from the dev :)

    Hi guys,
my name is alex and I'm one of the two developers that worked on scarab solitaire. Nice to get some feedback on what we've been working on during the some late nights and weekends :) Right now I'm pretty busy with a couple of projects but the things you guys have mentioned here are definetly on our todo-list. Vegas rules (thanx Carlos-Sz) and unlimited levels (thanx GatorDeb) and unlimited undo (thanx freedog) are on the list. We are looking at releasing a new solitiare and add facebook connect support to that one and to scarab solitaire. This will allow you to check what high scores your friends have in the different games and send out a challenge where you get to duel your friend for the best score using the same deck of cards.

Looking forward to here more from you guys.

Oh, btw gatorDeb, the time you have to decide what to do does get shorter for each level :)

    /Alex
