Saw this in a special bakery here today. They make all kinds of (very expensive) themed cakes. (It's in China... I'm German living here.) On the kiosks they also feature all kinds of PvZ and Angry Birds stuff. It's amazing what they have: trading cards, booths, stickers, trading cards, help books, Angry Birds themed lottery style games and much more.
I'll have to ask next time, the ones above didn't have a price on them... Definitely! Check out some more photos I took: Below some more PvZ pics... Above one is that kind of holo card where you see a different image when you tilt the card to the side... The one above was some kind of "lottery"... there were many little boxes with a PvZ cover, then you pay and you can open a random box of your choice... behind which they had put a small winning item, like a pair of marbles.

The cake is a lie. I saw an Angry Birds graphic t-shirt selling at Kohl's, so you know they've gone mainstream and sold out to the man. While I acknowledge that Angry Birds is likely the best of the .99c apps, .99c apps are really damaging the marketplace. Under no circumstances would I ever download that game.
Then you should leave this site. If you think 99c games are damaging the marketplace you should leave TA. How can it be damaging the market place when there are like every developer is making a great profit?
Haha, I just realized how very similar some of the creatures and art styles in PVZ is similar to pokemon.
actually, if games cost more on average, devs would make more..... and fyi, there are a ton of devs that spend thousands of dollars and tons of time, and end up losing a ton of money from the appstore.
