I think it would be more effective to remove it from the new games list instead? If the goal is to keep people from finding out about the game...
So much for not trying to censor eh? Also, surely it's against the rules to deliberately try to get a thread locked, mods? Anyway, just because of all this i'm now downloading the game and will be posting impressions so people who want to can actually discuss the game
I don't agree with locking the thread or moving comments once the thread is here, but I do believe a website can choose not to give publicity to a game they don't like. Every game is not guaranteed a space here.
And that's why my post wasn't directed at you but the guy who claimed not wanting to censor anything and then goes on to admit he was, in fact, trying to do exactly that by getting the thread locked I don't care what games TA puts on their new games or hot games list. Their house, their rules

Perhaps you should re-read your earlier posts and take note of your tone and assertions that basically everybody's views aren't worth a thing and that its all just whining. If you opt to take an immediately aggressive and vehement opposition to others, then it's no longer a discussion - it's a dictatorship. You are attempted to foist your opinions on others - I just aired my opinions and asked others to consider them and vote with their wallets. The reason I bit was your entire argument was based on hypocrisy - you didn't manage to validate your points in any shape or form, you simply asserted you were right and we were wrong for deciding to discuss morals in a gaming forum. No deleted, moved to this thread as the entire discussion, er argument, had nothing to do with the game itself. You can't just remove a game from the hot list, that list is automatically generated from a bunch of data that's pulled from the app store and elsewhere. Actually, it's not a rule. But ironically what IS a rule is: Which everyone seems pretty intent on doing today

Yes, I assumed people wouldn't want to inadvertently drive the game up the hot games list with off topic posts. How do you equate that to wanting to "keep attention away from the game?" And there are no relevant game-related posts that have been moved here.
I've got to agree with Boardumb on this - he's only helping the cause by moving the comments here and avoiding unnecessary bumping. The link to this thread is still in the original game thread so anyone who stumble across it and wants to do a little digging to broaden their minds will follow the discussion here. Plus, he's a moderator and he's just trying to keep things impartial.....although I am surprised that Mr Tin-foil Hat hasn't started jumping up and down shouting 'thought police' at him yet.
Can someone explain to me what is extra outrageous about this game compared to the countless other dumb games no one cares about with stupid marketing and extra-sexy borderline inappropriate screenshots? The App Store is full of junk, how is this news? Or worth any effort getting worked up over? Life is short, focus on things you enjoy instead of creating another textbook Streisand effect example on the internet.
Noone was getting worked up over anything until someone decided to get all 'ranty' on me for posting my views about the contents of the marketing email that ApUnwrapper received. It's not as if we were getting militant about Women's lib - I just voiced my feelings and supported ApUnwrapper's decision to share the contents of the email. Not unreasonable. The ensuing 'discussions' were relating to perceived censorship and someone got a bit 'offended' that other people may have differing opinions. Anyway, who's getting worked up now? #
