Nice update; arm blaster looks promising. I'm glad to see progress is being made and that there are interns to exploit. Bring on Chapter 5.
The arm cannon shoots with a single tap or charges with a hold and release. Single taps do less damage than a charge. Right now, you get three seconds to shoot any combination of single or charge shots. It's a pretty cool battle object! We've also got four more items that follow a similar train of thought. Stay tuned for a full Episode 5 preview in July.
Possibly - though Episode 5 is mostly an homage to space/sci-fi cartoons. Bravestarr, StarCom, Voltron, Saber Rider, Starblazers, Centurions, etc. My favorite new thing is that you'll be able to enter a lot of the stores in downtown Shadow Valley - including Charles Cheezer.
Voltron, Saber Rider and Centurions. Damn this game makes me realize i had an awesome childhood. Kids nowadays have, what, Dora?
I just feel bad that kids today have nowhere near the variety we had. You could probably name 100 - 200 different cartoons from the 80s and early 90s, whereas today kids pretty much only have 20 to choose from.
Yeah, but we also had far more soul-crushing disappointments too. When a TV show is cancelled these days, the ADD generation just flits to another cookie-cutter show, can you remember the impact of having Dungeons & Dragons cancelled? Or Jayce & The Wheeled Warriors? *sniffle*
You guys should check out Adventure Time, it's great! But yeah I free the choice of cartoons back in the day was way better.
I've seen adventure time, it's funny but not in the same league as things like Transformers, M.A.S.K., Gi joe, visionaires, He-man, thundercats, Trap door, gummybears. Oh man I could go on and on about the cool cartoons from the 80/90 there's so many. Find them online -> watch them ->be happy
Adventure Time is great, but any self-respecting 80's fan would do well by watching Regular Show. It's kind of the like the Saturday Morning RPG of cartoons - 80s and 90s pop culture references are all over it. They had an entire episode based on "The Wizard". It's really a great show.
Some people claim that "the wizard" with Fred savage was rubbish but I love that film, it pure 80's gold. Fred savage on top form anyone who hasn't seen it and likes video games must go and watch it right now! I demand it.
Here's a quick list of some of Regular Show's best references: http://www.toplessrobot.com/2012/07/the_11_nerdiest_references_in_regular_show.php
I've seen the Indiana jones, master system and power glove episodes but not the rest. I'd agree its well worth watching.
Looks like you might have just given me a new favorite show. Cause I freekin love The Wizard! ...minus all of the terrible directing and editing mistakes about the video game scores and dialogue.
Dear Josh: There's a weird bug in episode 3 that makes the outhouse pressure valve and blitzed missions impossible to complete. I don't know what causes it. I can't turn in the valve quest, and the soldiers only appeared every other visit to town. And then only one soldier. The other visits all four arrows showed up, but there were no soldiers. And when I killed all four I didn't get quest credit. Also could we please get an in-game description of what the different stats do?
