Hmm. Finally convinced myself that I needed this game (as though I didn't at least 10 new games I hardly touched yet ), only to find that this game is no longer present on AppStore. Guess it's some glitz due to the update... Looking forward to getting this, I liked the first one, 'though I got a bit frustrated with the swipe controls..
Our fault. We submitted update, hoping that apple will release it in same time as 4.2 and we support only iOS 4.0+ So nobody could buy it on iPad, until they will release 4.2 or approve our update 1.0.3.. What a stupid mistake.. anyway, game is prepard for 4.2 and support leaderboards and achievements on iPad... Best regards
I've finished this game a couple of times and playing my third. This game has one of the best gameplay and is visually striking (pun intended). Its fun to look at and fun to play. I love the new control system as listening for the audible cues and observing the various and consistent "tells" each opponent gives, greatly enhances your sophistication of gameplay rather than just hacking away, which isn't very fun and won't take you very far into the game anyway. Great job to the Madfinger shop for creating one of the best games I've ever played on my iDevice.
Thank you very much. Please post review on iTunes also.. After update we have only few reviews there.. Marek R.
Awesome! Been waiting to try the lite version. Didn't like the first game but this one looks so much better with the new controls.. EDIT: Wait, this looks like a survival game, not a lite version with first few levels :/
The main game has two modes, Story and Dojo. I think that both Dojo versions are the same -- and yeah Dojo mode is a survival game.
I created new thread for Samurai II: Dojo. Its not lite version, its full game with survival mode.. and its free.. http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=74983
Thanks! This is the only mode of the game I was interested in and to have it as a free stand alone product is too f'ng cool! I will gladly take you up on the "toss the developer a $1" IAP.
just downloaded the dojo version and it runs kinda smooth on my first gen ipod touch so will the full version also run playable on my ipod then ?
Well, it's an action game, so I think what you're asking is whether it's tactical, and the answer is yes, especially once you start dealing with the higher level enemies and bowmen.
I'm keen on plonking down my dollar on this, but was wondering if I should play Episode 1 first, before delving into Episode 2. is the storyline linked? or is it separate? If it's separate, I'll just plonk my dollar down for this!
You dont need to play first one, story is connected a little bit, but you will read about this in first comic panel.. dont worry and buy it
Great job with the game MadFinger Games! I love the graphics and gameplay. I even think it looks better than Infinity Blade! I just love the smooth art style. Now all I can wish for is co-op multiplayer via Game Center... It would be amazing to run through the game with a friend.
