Sounds like you have a problem with Game Center and not this game. And there is a button for game center high scores and achievements right above the more games button in the main menu and after every level.
Well I think the difficulty in the game could do with a little tweak just like you guys did with the original. I remember level 3 on the first game being notoriously difficult to pass and it took me half the day to clear that level and then you guys shortly bring out an update soon after to make level 3 easier and I was like damn! (but secretly satisfied that I manage to do it!)
problem is that in Samurai I and level 3 we had bug in damage deal by enemies, so it was very hard . they killed you in three hits,if i remember correctly... In Sam II everything works well or maybe mess in difficulty is problems.. Anyway, we added easy mode now.. And more tweak will came a little bit later... Cheers
Cannot be. I just restored my iPod and I still don't see it. I am running on an iPod Touch 3rd Gen 8gb with version 4.1 everything is up to date for me. This is extremely odd. I had the same problem with Sushi Cat (ArmorGames).
No it's not. You must be referring to the slow downs during the decapitations and body splits. Those are done for dramatic effect.
Excellent cheers although I think I am the end of the game on Normal mode so I might reframe from updating when it comes out! EDIT - Really struggling with the last level(?) looking forward to that update now
I don't think its necessarily a difficulty issue, at least not in terms of the damage dealt per hit or no. hits to kill an enemy. I think its the AI and strategies of the enemies. Personally I think the archers are the biggest issue and would reduce the number of them at any 1 time, maybe being replaced by sword carrying enemies.
Samurai II: Vengeance 1.0.1 submitted to Apple Tweaks: ☯ 50% more experience in hard difficulty. ☯ Final boss fight with Orochi. ☯ Easy difficulty. Bugs: ☯ Fixed occasionally crash when mission end. ☯ Dojo mode start in hard difficulty always. ☯ Game center support on iPhone 3GS. ☯ Game resend achievements. ☯ Fixed combo text messages. ☯ Fixed minor bugs in level 2,6,7.
HELL YES!!!! sounds like this game is about to get 100% better!!!! - gotta love that extra experience on hard mode!!!
Seems like adding swipe control as an option would be a welcomed update as this is a universal app, i.e., swipe controls would be preferred for use on the ipad...
Just beat it on hard. Kinda lame I don't get the achievement >< btw: How the crap do people get 30k on stage 6? Is there some exploit I'm missing? I can barely go over 5k on that stage >.>"
maybe. But I'm like top 50 on every other stage >.>" btw: I seem to only be able to play the first chapter in 'chapter' mode, which is weird because I could play all of them before. I've beaten normal and hard story mode, so I assume this is a glitch. I take my earlier statement back, this game isn't really polished at all =/ Still fun though.
Wow finally just completed this game - Orrochi was a lot easier then I thought - level 6 must ranked as one of the hardest levels I have done on any game. I think I died 90 times! For any new person coming into this game - trying and learn the shogun combo asap as it will save your life on more then one occasion. The walking death combo is also a combo I spammed a lot. Thanks to madfinger and co for creating a fantastic game but I have to say I much prefered the first game (I liked the story a bit more )
First, I like this game a lot. It runs very smoothly and looks beautiful on my Touch 4. The only annoying thing is, that the game keeps asking me to sign in with an account everytime I'm in the main menu (sometimes it crashes there). Asking at the beginning should be enough. Maybe you can fix that?
Great Sequel! I loved the first one, the 2nd part is really good. I miss the animation where the samurai shakes the sword to clean the blood. And the swipe controls are preferred. I believe a good addition would be a berserker mode (but à la japanese, not like a viking). But it's a really good game. Congrats to the devs!
