I know some people don't like how challenging this game is, but I kind of like it that way. The trick with difficult games is to play them in short bursts, and take a break from them when you get stuck. Unless you're a game reviewer, you don't have to beat them on release day. I haven't played Samurai II in a day now, but I very much look forward to tackling a few more rounds tonight. Love it!
I LOVE how challenging this game is! It's going to keep me occupied for WEEKS if not MONTHS... I'm still just on chapter 4 (I've re-started twice... upgrading only health one time, only combos another, and now a mix of both...) - and only on Normal difficulty. I can't wait to be good enough to try it on the hard setting... and then the game center stuff... I haven't even gotten into that part of it all...
We dont have this device for testing.. anyway, we had this problem when you decap somebody and we tried to report it to game center... Could you try reset your device ?
if MadFinger you could leave the corpes as it is jz like the 1st samurai would be a nice touch after killing and no dead body around looks weird / not brutal enough
lol.. im missing them also.. anyway, its almost impossible without heavy testing Dont forget that this game run also on 2nd Gen iPod, with very limited memory budget..
I find this game pretty hard just like the majority on here - much of the fustration I think comes from the fact that 1 hit kills seem to happen so randomly. You could struggle fight 3 dual-weilding sword dudes when they corner you or you seem to get really luck and 1 hit kill them easily. Is there a trick to doing this as just with the first game, the 1 hit kills really can help you.
I'm having a problem whereby I completed chapter 3 whilst away from wifi and so didn't unlock the game center achievement. When back in wifi range it didn't show up, so I thought i'd do the chapter again, but still no luck. Other achievements have unlocked fine, even the next few chapters.
I wanted a to punch my dorm wall more than once during the last two levels. Especially with the Archers spawning after Orochi goes down. "I got him! YES!" *gets shot with an arrow and dies* "....did that just happen". Though, the difficulty isn't really a gripe for me, I'm using it as a driving force to get better and up my scores on the levels! Huge replay value for me there
I dont know how to do it in the first game, but in this one:when they atack you quickly roll behind them and atack.it works for me as im almost always doing that succesfully
actually i prefer the 1st game method where u can dodge by swiping the moment they shouted. I find it quite challenging and focus is needed. we'll lure the enemy 1 by 1, or kill all by counter-attack the 2nd is good, but i felt more like hack and slash, not much strategy here
Ok man will give it ago cheers. However sometimes the one hit kills happen when you are front on the enemy so it is random I think*. In regards to the game itself - I dont enjoy it as much as the first - you are forever rolling around back and forth and sometimes you just get stuck in front of an enemy and before you know it you are dead. EDIT - although I do appreciate the difficulty in this game - it's very satisfying in some sense but an easy mode should be available for those that need it.
Hey guys, we really need to know, if there is majority of people who feels that this game is frustrating.. We know, that last two levels are tough , but we call it challenging not frustrating If there will be enough people, we can make easy difficulty in next update...
So now I know why its hard.. if you start play game on normal and then play chapter mode or dojo (which are on hard), then single player is on hard also .. damn..
Yes it has happened with other games I have purchase (or have been updated) at the moment the game doesn't register in Game Center either. Also there is no Game Cente button in the game to view High scores and Achievements.
