I got this game the day it came out. Have been playing a couple of long sessions, now at the final boss. I love the joystick controls, although as mentioned before the timing of the slash buttons need a bit of getting used to.

On the iPad the graphics are very immersive, not just because of the art style but also because of the perfect camera system. The levels are elegant and even have you go up and down through elevators etc. It definitely feels like an epic journey you're undertaking.

As far as I'm concerned, one of the best action adventure games on the platform!

I've upgraded my health two times. Now it's saying health level 3 and there's no option to upgrade it more and yet the Game Center achievement for it is saying 50%?

    Good evening everybody..

We found where is problem with crashing on the end of level.. Problem is healing after finished game zone, so when your health is very low and mission end, it will crash..

As game center, I'll check it but what I know, apple is not working like achievements on XBOX.. I'll try to solve these problems.

We will submit update tomorrow to the Apple.

    Enjoy

Hmm, for offline achievements could you save them and then post them all at once when the user has a connection again?

    help

I think i'm on the last checkpoint of level 6. Anyway, you have to survive like 10 waves. And i can only get to the last wave (giant) before i'm dead. And that was only once. i must have replayed the level 20 times no joke. Upgrading my combos doesn't help much.

What's the strategy for winning on like the second to last wave and then fighting the giant.

I like how the difficulty encourages you to be more patient. When I first played the game I went all in, slashing my sword around like crazy. And of course, that failed. Now I've learnt that it helps a lot to retreat occasionally so you can plan your next move.

Yeah, this game is getting extremely strategical later on.
You have to plan every single opponent. And it's so satisfying to finally win a battle which seems impossible to survive the first couple of times.

are you kidding me? I'm on stage 4... and so far... I've pretty much been MASHING the roll button, going in circles around the enemies, and getting hits in whenever possible...

I've tried singling them out, I've tried waiting to roll away until I see their swords go up... but it just doesn't get me through the level...

so me... getting through a level, involves about %80 dashing/rolling out of the way... =o/

I'm sure I'm going about it in the entirely wrong way... but it's the only way that works for me...

Well I have only played the first 3 chapters. So far it hasn't been too difficult, but not too easier either.

I guess my post doesn't make sense or is complicated?

anyway, I actually found from beginning to where I am stuck quite smoothy paced and not at all insanely hard. If only it could be like that till level 7 or the final boss I wouldn't be as frustrated

There isnt any specific strategy for that battle. Just dont attack them blindly.. Single them out and take them down one by one. The moment the dual sword enemy starts spinning, roll away and keep moving (no need to rolling away blindly). Just keep moving in circle until you find an opening. Attack and roll away. If you kill them, fine, even if you dont, still move away or you'll get hit by an archer (which keep popping up way too much in that level). Also use the final combo (oxooo) only as that is the most poerful and not only does it kill them in single move, it also damages any other enemy who tries to attack you.

I've already played the game well over a dozen times and still that is One fight where even I get killed quite a few times. So ya, that one is really difficult. Once you get past it, rest of them arent that difficult in comparison.

thx for the tips. I was trying to get some combos in but was not so successful because my fingers kept taping roll instead of x. I wish you could customize the controls. I'll try this out.

Hahaa, "Nintendo thumbs!" I know the feeling exactly. It's like playing one of those NES games where you felt like the player just wasn't meant to win back in the day. While playing this I got flashbacks to some of those spike corridors in Megaman 2 and Megaman 3.

Memorizing enemy patterns, and exploiting them with patience, helps a lot. Also, the player can strategize a bit by learning which enemies replace fallen enemies, since this is all scripted from what I understand.
