I recently restored my iPad to factory settings and downloaded the latest firmware. Besides losing 50+ gigs of apps, everything was going fine with it until today. I noticed that safari no longer auto completes my URLs. Before it would add .com to the end of whatever I typed in the address bar, but now it takes me to a page not found page, because it's treating the address bar like a search bar for some reason. Did they remove the feature intentionally, or is there a setting or something I'm missing?
Yes. You're not using iCab Mobile Seriously. It has more options than the settings application. It's based off webkit so it's just as fast (save for javascript) and it has many more features than default Safari.
