Maybe I am missing something but there isn't even enough information to get excited about this.

 

Yeah I don't get how that would work, what's to get ready for release if it's been approved by apple already?

 

It's all to sketchy... A game supposedly so awesome would had been leaked in some small fashion or another over it's development period.

It's funny to watch it all unravel regardless of what this exactly comes to be... Either way it's brilliant.

 

Maybe it's not an app per se, but a browser game with API that permit access to this Dragon database...

 

Which you can then trade your dragons on your ipod like the Bump app!!!

It doesn't take much to get attention.

 

A browser game built with the latest and greatest tech. the stryfe engine being built from the ground up.

How is something like that going to run on an iOS browser? HTML 5? Surely that's not capable of running something as extreme as they're making this out to be.

And still nothing from them. Just the same macroed message from a group of people all aquatinted with each other but no one outside of that.

 

I'd hardly call it elaborate. And the attention garnered is nothing to double take at.

 

Im sure this whole thing will be something big but im not so sure it will be in the app form....

I doubt it. It says it's a mini-game on their website, and i suspect if enough people play the mini-game the real game will be released.

"To enter, we need a an interminable number of dragon souls to unlock and stabilize the portal that connects our two worlds. We can do it, if you join us now with this web-based mini-game. The moment the portal is unlocked and thrown open, Dragonstryfe will be unleashed upon our world! "

 

Nope this is just leading up to the games release. If we put in the effort the faster we get the game!

 

You can play with the iPhone too.
Not ideal and sometimes things get stuck onscreen, but I manager to kill 7 Dragons.

500.000 people seems a lot to me...
