As you'd expect from a Rusty Lake, great soundtrack, eerie visuals. I love the plague theme. I keep missing nearly *all* of the achievements! ip4weather Well-Known Member Nov 13, 2012 1,659 13 38 #3 ip4weather, Jan 11, 2018 i like rusty games, they are amazing! This is a wonderful yet bizarre and macabre series that is strangely enticing. Admittedly, I am having trouble keeping track of all of the weird storylines across the many games. brogmoid Well-Known Member Jun 21, 2015 86 7 8 a series of tubes the south side of the sky #6 brogmoid, Jan 12, 2018 Oooh, a new Rusty Lake adventure. Instabuy for me. y2kmp3 Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2010 1,784 3 38 #7 y2kmp3, Jan 14, 2018 Just finished game. Worthy sequel in the long-running Rusty Lake series. Bizarre and twisted. Less macabre than previous stories. Some notes about the gameplay in this game: - Puzzles varies from inventory based to standalone logic puzzles. Like previous games, many (but not all) of the puzzles unlock following a strictly linear progression. This means if you are stuck in making sense of the next step from a given clue, you basically cannot progress. - Game is very glitchy, frequently crashing on loading the next chapter or backtracking. However, the game aggressively auto saves your progress, so you do not need to redo any major steps. - The achievements are much tougher in this game than all previous games in the series. In my first playthrough, I got only about two-thirds of the achievements (there are 50 in total). I am not keen on this current implementation of the achievement hunt for the series. Though I am uncertain of this yet, I suspect many achievements require unusual application of an object. This means if you used an object as intended, you may be locked out of the related achievement unless you replay the entire chapter. katastrophic88 Active Member Nov 7, 2017 35 0 6 #8 katastrophic88, Jan 15, 2018 As a huge fan of the previous games in the Rusty Lake series, for all the dark and eerie things they contain, super excited to check this one out.
