I'm going to buy the iap soon... It sounds like you will be releasing a new version of this in a few months? What will be the major differences? A bit confused on if it will be a new app or additional content to purchase etc...?
Just wondering if there is a "restore purchases" button anywhere that I'm missing? I bought the IAP on one device, but decided to download and play on another.
This is brilliant. Got to admit took me a few goes on it for it all to click. I'm playing on the air 2 and the default button sizes didn't quite work for me and the handling felt too heavy and not quite right. Once I'd resized the controls and I'd played a few more stages it all just fell into place. Fairly sure this is the best top down rally game I've played in many years of iOS gaming. Couple of suggestions to the Dev - I'd like to be able to access the options menu from the pause button it was slightly annoying when I was trying to get the buttons to the right size, and when coming back into the race a count down or pause before the action starts would be good. Other than that it's a big nice one on an ace game Oh and just to add not sure if it's possible but from the PoV of someone that has no idea at all about cars some kind of info about what the tuning options do.....!
I'm loving this game, such a simple unlock to get the full experience and no IAPs in sight, top marks to you Brownmonster! I concur with having more of an explanation as to what the tuning options entail as I also haven't got the foggiest about cars haha. I would love to see more competitors on the leaderboards so please feel free to add me on GC under Deckard740, see you on the tracks!
Yes is does, its all modeled properly, so even lowering the wing angle with give better acceleration, at the cost of a VERY slidey car!
So Rush Rally was actually finished last July, and we spent ALOT of time getting feeback from the android community on what was wrong and what was needed to make it a good game. We decided that we would implement all this before giving it a release on iOS for maximum impact, which seems to have paid off. The next "games" we have in the hat are of course all driving, but they will be quite different. Talking of Rush Rally 2, we will have championship modes and damage, but will be much more akin to games you already know with a low chase camera and bonnet camera, hopefully knocking colin mcrae and other competitors off the podium! Of course we still retain the fantastic handling, which is now tuned to match the WRC cars that currently race, and I have to say playing in a low camera is just epic. With this view comes a few other optimisations we needed to make and a bit of a change in graphics style. So in short it will be a whole new game, with another set of tracks (We're aiming for at least 72 again).
Thanks, are these jailbroken? In fact anyone who has crashes like this, can you PM me instead so we can get a database of what this happens on and why this is happening?
Its in the options or profile screen, I can't remember. It doesn't pass Apple regulations without it.
See this is the kind of thing I need to know.... Any chance of any brief explanation of what all the tuning options do?
Restore Purchases are in the Profile screen. Question... iCloud save support. When I loaded the game on my iPhone 6, none of the saved data was downloaded... am I missing something? I didn't see anything in the iCloud options on the device, nor the app options in system settings. When I checked my profile, it does show that I've completed 11%.. Here is the difference when checking the profile on two devices. The second picture has only loaded the game once, and hasn't raced, etc.
iCloud is not supported, but logging in with the same game center id or Facebook account will sync your ghosts and times. (just the profile save data will not get synced) not ideal I know for those who want to sync it all! I'll add it to the ever growing list!!
Thanks for your reply and looking forwarding to purchasing the IAP later tonight. Rush Rally 2 sounds exciting as well.
I'm done with it for now. Controls sticking on is completely ruining a truly awesome game for me. Paid the 1.99. Hope u can fix soon or I'll have to seek a refund. #super bummed out
