Congrats on the launch and its good to hear favorable reviews. In terms of gameplay and graphics is this a significant step up from RR2? The vid for the current version looks similar to the previous one.
Both, but i'm biased There are about 20x as many trees, it runs better, all new tracks, new career mode, new cars, new audio, new co-driver I can go on?...
Congrats on the (german) App Store front page feature. So well deserved! Im digging the new career mode so much! R E A L L Y loving the oldschool and fabulous upgrade system! Edit: @Brownmonster please help me clear up a dispute, the manufactor „pinpoint“ is not unsimilar to a certain french car brand, right?
dang i just realise that i haven't bought the game yet. i played the beta all the time and didn't notice that the game has been release and i haven't bought it yet. so here you go: bought!
Two different types of racing titles. In all honesty, the GRID Autosport experience is best optimized for console/PC while the Rush Rally series is really meant for the touchscreen. That being said, you can get the GRID games for other platforms while Rush Rally is exclusive for iOS/Android! Bottom line: get Rush Rally. If you're looking for non-rally racing games, Real Racing 3 easily tops GRID imo.
Brownmaster, would you consider a re-release of Rush Rally 1? By the time I got hooked on RR2, the app was deleted from the store.
Any recommendations for graphics settings on IPhone X for a solid 60fps? The auto calibration maxes everything but it gets below 40fps later in some stages.
That's the same with nearly every game. When you got Final Fantasy XV per episode you nearly paid 20 Dollars more than somebody from the US doing the same. The price difference for most of Europe (it's similar with GB Pounds) was more understandable when the Dollar was pretty weak 2 - 3+ years ago but now that it's nearly even with the Euro again this also doesn't count as an excuse anymore. My guess is that they wouldn't even change this dicrepancy back if the Dollar's value suddenly doubled. After all, it's certainly a nice extra inome from us Euro(pean) suckers ...
And that is why I am gradually stopping to support Apple and the AppStore. The rip-off on Europeans is just unbearable. You buy an overly overpriced iDevice here in Europe (About 1/3rd over what the Americans pay, if you consider the international exchange rate) and then you are still charged more for the same digital product that incurs no logistical costs. I blame our European politicians for letting this Apple nonsense slide. Simply ridiculous
I have to say, this game is actually amazing. Everything from the graphics to the physics. I love how much customization of the cars there is, along with the realistic damage model where the car can be dented or the axles can be bent, it all feels so real! Good job, Brownmonster
