The retry issue is fixed, it took a while for me to work it out I still need to wipe the online skill game times though as they haven't been cleared yet
So I haven't played for a while, start her up, notice I can max out the graphics (iPad Pro 9.7) and proceed to spend the next few hours wondering HOW I haven't found more time for this. Honestly the feel of the cars and satisfaction from getting the lines and traction just right is superb. Love the mini clone but I'm a sucker for minis.
Sale. Please mash 'buy' like your life depended on it. Great game and well worth the money full price so a steal at 50% off.
It is completely different, Rr2 is a proper racing game, not a top down arcade/sim cross like its predecessor!
As Brownmonster said RR2 is much more of a sim than RR1. It's better for my tastes, the feel of the cars and different surfaces is spot on. Multiple game modes, loads of tracks, great physics and a responsive developer. If you like racers you're missing out by passing on this one. Sorry, sounds like I've been paid to say this but honestly I'd buy it again (at full price) if I had to.
Just wanted to say. Havent liked a racing game this much since fishlabs racing game. Played on my IPhone 3GS. Ancient history now. Really love playing the game with my Gamevice controller. Very well done!!!
Really....., IMO this is easily the best rally game ever on iOS. Colin McRae ( a franchise that holds very fond memories all the way back to my PS1) has nothing on the handling of this.. CMR feels floaty and slippery.. And WRC, never rated on iOS either. The ongoing development to this alone makes it a standout.. Just my thoughts, but this is my go to for rallying on a handheld
I know I've been quiet on here for a while, I've been planning the next game out and whilst doing that adding stuff to Rush Rally 2. The next update to come will have real-time damage, still no ETA on the finished product but here are some examples. Enjoy P.s. the sale is still running, I'm thinking of knocking the price back up very shortly. Ste
Good work man, still the best rally game on iOS for me. Anyone who misses the sale has really lost out if they are any way into racers because it's worth it at full price.
Still not quite ready with the real-damage update (Although I have added manual gears and a steering wheel analog touch control now too). Whilst you are waiting, I've been lucky enough to be selected by IMGA for the peoples award of 2016 for Rush Rally 2! You can vote here -> http://www.imgawards.com/games/rush-rally-2/ Or look at the other great selection here: http://www.imgawards.com/winners-nominees/13th-imga/
Awesome Find! Great job! I was a huge fan of CMR on the PS1 back in the day. Rally racing is my favorite style of motor sport and CMR was my favorite style of racing game. I much prefer a reality based racing sim over an arcade style racer. Sadly, I lost interest in console gaming and hadn't played another racer until I found CMR was released for the iPad. I'm not a big fan of tilt controls, however, and the onscreen buttons weren't much better. I recently purchased a controller and was surprised that CMR didn't support it. Therefore I was thrilled to discover the 5 star review of RR2 on TA, which referenced controller support. I immediately downloaded it and have been playing it using my controller for the last 2 days. This is a fantastic game and well worth the 5 stars given in the review—much better than CMR as well. I haven't unlocked all the cars or completed all the courses yet, but I'm very impressed with what I've seen thus far. If I have one criticism, it's the lack of information regarding the interface. Took me a while to figure out which button on the controller was the handbrake (wish there was a way to manually assign functions to the various buttons). It also took me a while to understand the repair and customization screens. Not to big a deal for me, but this may be a real challenge for my kids, who I'd like to try and play with/against. I'm so glad this is not a freemium title as I would not have downloaded it, otherwise. Great job, Brownmonster! You now have an enthusiastic customer for all of your future rally titles! BTW, I'm playing on a 12.9" iPad Pro on the highest graphics settings.
Thanks, All feedback much appreciated! I know the interface isn't great, it was more created to be "functional" at first, maybe i'll give it an overhaul for the next game!
I hate snowy maps Otherwise game is awesome. Normally finishing as 5th but everytime i am going better.
I'm fine with snowy tracks but if theres one thing I'd like to see on rainy tracks, it would be wet muddy terrain. If you drift on either snowy or rainy tracks, I'd love to see some snow dust or mud flying over the spoilers! Even in the dry tracks the dust would be greatly satisfying to see. One thing I loved about Collin McRae Also, with the rise of people getting know about Initial D (an animation on racing), adding a Toyota 86 (new model) would definitely bring this game to a wider audience.
