i've just bought it... and man... this is the best rally game ever on iOS, a must have for every racing fan out there. incredible performance also in my old 4S, congrats to the dev!!!

I didn't realize that so many familiar names were also playing Rush Rally 2. I haven't had much time lately to play, what with chasing gps01, AlfaPower and Jazzman around AR tracks. (BTW gps... Alfa and I have pulled fairly far ahead on this event but he keeps passing me, reclaiming first. ) I like the new challenges that Rush Rally 2 offers. It's hard to find a GOOD rally racing game in the mobile market. I am looking forward to the update and the NEXT game(?) that is coming soon!
Cheers fella, the new cockpit camera will blow you away, it's something I never planned, but damn does it provide! I've been experimenting with 20 plus cars on all tarmac tracks too with the new cockpit and the first reports are excellent!
Boom! August 18th is confirmed for the update, I've updated the preview as shown below, see if you can spot any of the "newer" footage (which just looks massively better!). Main features in this one are: - Cockpit camera for all vehicles with real time mirrors - Replay mode now actually updates the wheels and steering wheel etc etc so it looks cool with any ghost - I've moved the entire database to my own hosted cloud server as my current hosts are shutting down soon (mine should be faster to retrieve results and ghosts too) - Fixed all the cloud issues that people were having when they got quite far in the game Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel

Looking good, I hope it kick starts more interest, it really does deserve to be a big hit. Anything the nails the physics and feel gets my vote ... And this also looks the business.

I may need to play the game more to answer my own question but is there a way to look up in the game, other players' records for all segments/races? (Similar to what we are doing with the AR Championship Series right now). We need a social gaming connection to everyone else in order to give this game more depth. I'm not expecting OMP or team events like what RR3 has, as that would probably be too much to ask and would only be relevant for the Rally Cross category. I'm looking forward to seeing how the next installment looks!
If you connect to gamecenter Or facebook you can download and watch EVERY other world racers time and your friend times for EVERY track, you can also race against their ghosts. (With the exception of RallyCross which is more just AI based) Is that what you mean? I guess you want to be able to actually "add" friends internally maybe?
