Monte Carlo... I REALLY want to put some stages in with building and villages, i'm not saying I will go as far as Monte Carlo but it was in the plan originally. Lets see how this update goes first!
Yup, the android one has a few more fixes in it too specific to android, I'm also having to take big measures to stop pirates playing the android version on the leaderboards ( Only about 1% of my android players have paid ), but if I have done it right those who have paid will not be affected.
Happy to hear it (about the update, definitely not about the piracy thing :/ ). I had sounds problem (I am the one, who wrote to you about it), but it is gone. BTW I really enjoyed the Pikes Peak stage, because it is longer. It demands full concentration to be able to set a good time.
Great stuff thanks I'm thinking I may just move over to Rush Rally 3 at this rate and shake it up some more by having a dedicated hill climb section, career, etc etc. We'll see how this goes though, I need the numbers to pick up some more to make this viable really.
I hope they do, I appreciate any updates and will be all over any future sequels. Devs like yourself should be the reason piracy declines but human nature being the way it is ... Keep up the good work.
Cheers, TBH I'm loving creating this but in the long run i'd love to make more of these games as my main job (I have so many ideas for games based on this tech). As it stands though its not quite good enough to keep the family aloft on its own!
I'd like to knock out a circuit racer with wide tracks too at some point (a bit like RR3, Gran Turismo and what assoluto are aiming for). That would really stir things up I think
Oh yes please# I think that you would absolutely nail it. To be honest at the moment on iOS I'm only playing Rush Rally 2, Assoluto and RR3. If you get the "feel" of the cars right (which you will) I think it would be an instant hit! I love RR3 and hate it at the same time, they do many things fantastically well, but the "economy" kills it.. I play it but it's frustrating. Assoluto is one of the best circuit racers on iOS imo, I love that it has a Gran Turismo look and feel.. I think once they flesh out the content some more it'll be an absolute must if you're a racer. And Rush Rally 2 is hands down THE best rally racer ever on iOS. I hoestly think if you can translate the quality of this to circuits you'll definitely have another hit on your hands.
That's about expected to be honest. and hence that's why all the good stuff usually comes to iOS first or only to iOS. Also is it just me or are the championships easier with the slower or lower rank cars? Driving my D car I can easily gold cup some of the races while doing the same ones on a S rank I'm coming in 3rd doing my best. Could be that the extra speed is making me go off course more.
You are correct, the difficulty scales with the car class. Perhaps I need to make the rallycross a bit harder in the lower classes.
Noooo, I think it's fine the way it is. Just like in Mario kart, slower karts = easier difficulty. Would be not very accessible if it's hard across the board regardless of vehicle speed. Plus everybody in this thread would hate me for making things harder. =p
I'd LOVE stages with buildings. Your game remembers me a whole lot to the original V-Rally on the PlayStation, but I'm missing those buildings you mention, stone bridges, sections with low road walls next to a ridge, etc. Anyway, keep up the good work and I hope you really make a profit with this one.
Yeah, TBH it has made money, and therefore if I make it better, and do another sequel it will hopefully continue to do well and I can carry on making a great game for you guys!
