Just bought the game. Runs great, feels great, dodge the missile is funny. However first thing that stood out immediately was no native res. Is this on the list of fixes or by design?
cool, glad to hear that. this game will also be sitting on my iphone until, well...Rush rally 3 is out . no bugs found so far, the game is running smooth and im still mastering my time on german track.
This is by design, I could add an option but it really struggles on some devices. Which device do you have? My main concern is that even ps4 and xbox1 still struggle with 1080p @60 and the old consoles were usually only 720p @30 so to allow access to higher devices with a less powerful gpu is going to get mainly bad press when people try it and it suffers! I could potentially have an option for it though, use at you own risk
I have the iPad Air 2. Not sure if you tested native res on this device. Will be picking up the 9.7" iPad pro soon which would be surprising if that couldn't do it. A tick box option would be nice for those who don't mind a performance hit. Maybe upon checking box you can have a disclaimer pop up saying that performance might not be as intended on older devices or something.
Please, please add checkpoints in Pikes Peak, (for comparing the own runtime ealier than only at the end of the track). They should be set at points, where the driver has time for comparing his actual time. Btw. beeing actually the 7th at Pikes Peak worldwide i am a bit confused about the time of the first player. #
Must be a bug if they are not there, I'll see what I can do when I get back. I've got a whole plan for the update and 4 weeks to do it in! It's looking like replays of anyone's ghosts (including replays of yours) and a new car is the next thing. Then probably damage that is more visual.
No problem! I'm hoping it will give e it another kick up in the charts as it's starting to drop in the UK quite a bit (surprised it is still high in the USA!) I need to find the secret of keeping it high in the charts up there with Colin mcrae! The game is good enough and has much more content, but it still needs to stamp it's authority!
Hey Kenjaya, may i ask you, which car you choosed for your run on place one at Pikes Peak? I drove now all cars and i can't believe that it is possible to climb Pikes Peak in this time.
So I'm back from a well earned rest, and have 4 weeks before "another" well earned rest ! I've gathered together a lot of peoples requests and information from the last week or so and have come up with the first big update list that I'm aiming for before I go away again! let me know if there is something "small" that you think I could easily squeeze in if something is missing. Bear in mind I have alot more stuff to add, this is *just* what is coming in the next update: 1. Achievements with GameCenter (Which for some reason I didnt think existed!) 2. Full replays of races AND the ability to view the replay of ANY players time (most common request it seems). 3. 1 or 2 new cars, depends how much I can get done on the above in that time. I'll keep you posted on progress anyway!
