It is something isn't it, 20km on a mobile in < 60Mb download! Someone gave me a terrible review saying its impossible to get a good rally game with that kind of download size! Just pushed the iOS7 version with the fixed leaderboards and sticky button fix too !
Nothing to add here. My experience with car games has always come down to arcade games (OutRun, Cruisin' USA, Horizon Chase, etc.) so I was a little hesitant to pick this up...but I couldn't let all these comments pass me by. Damn. Just DAMN!
I miss audience and buildings on the road a bit. Are the cars A-D 4WD, and the S-cars RWD? Greetz Chris Edit: Update is online (germany). #
The cars are all balanced differently, some have 80% rear 20% front for example. I always wanted to add more buildings and wind turbines etc etc too, but it got to a point where i needed to just get it release. Can someone let me know if it is OK on iOS 7, i don't have a device here with that lower iOS version.
It's okay and clear for me personally that an indie dev can't mess around with pic licenses and certificates of sport car manufacturers and their authorities. So the vehicles identified (so far) are: Lancia Delta? C – BMW Mini B – Lancia 1300 A – Suzuki Vitara S – Ford Escort Hyundai? Mitsubishi Mitsubishi? Maybe some1 can help out? Thx in adv I have an expert (editor) here and he would have some suggestions for CLASSIC rally cars if you want.
I think you'll get an answer at some point from someone on here. You are right though, legallym as far as I'm concerned, there are no real licensed vehicles and there are no licensed brands so I cannot comment sorry.
I've updated the game.I don't know if it's my imagination, but the championship rally mode seems to be a lot easier. Before i used struggle to get into the top 3 of each stage. Now i can come 1st with 20+ seconds to spare (per stage).Just got gold in Argentina with very little trouble. Just deleted app & will try again later.
Which championship are you playing? I adjusted the difficulty a little yes, but too much for class S cars, I'm planning on another build soon with the ability to adjust the height of the controls for iPad users so i'll make sure S class is still tricky. (the later rallies are unchanged) Basically I'm working through the wish list of small things! hopefully no one minds regular updates, especially as they are < 60Mb!
I played the Argentina rally.I've been struggling for a while on it (only got bronze cup). Just played after updating and won the whole rally by 40+ seconds.I thought it could be the new car i unlocked. But i tried finland with the default car & got gold on that. Like i say,it could be my imagination,or i simply got a lot better at the game.
I made those two easier for sure, before they were set too hard for some games, I'll also scale the "time delta" for each track based on car difficulty
Thanks for the confirmation, thought i was going crazy.Just tried after a clean install. They are much easier for sure. Just finished 18+ seconds slower than my record time on the first stage in finland....Still come 1st.
No problems, I'll sort it out, especially now I have a good set of times I can use from the leaderboards.
I can't believe someone would write a bad review based on the small file size! Did they even play the game lol? It should be praised for the amount of content included in such a small file size !
Great game which really required some mental retuning coming off of a bout of NFS: MW, but I do think Sweden, Track 4 could do with a bit of rebalancing. I'll come first in all the others, but that cursed course leaves me trailing at least fifteen seconds behind, even if, by my standards, I've had quite a good, clean run. It's like my opponents must have found some teleportation shortcut or something.
Thanks, have you updated to 1.02, this we addressed in that version! Another re-balance is pending too, alongside repositioning of controls (vertically) for iPads.
Just curious if anyone else is experiencing some pretty hefty battery drain with RR2. A couple of races are eating up a good 5-7% of battery.
What device is is? GPS was reporting something like that, then it stabilises for while before dropping quickly again. On my iPodTouch6th gen I can play for a few hours easily.
Nothing out of the ordinary on my 6s+ or iPad air 2. Tho it is kind of a graphical heavyweight. Also running 9.0.2 on both.
It also uses 2 cores permanently, I'm not sure how many other games do that! (Physics is updated at 360hz for each car!!!)
