No worries, your feedback has already been good! I'll be more interested on feedback from the next build now!
Oh,i totally overlooked this one.Me excited I stumbled over the pocketgamer article.Does it have MFI support? That's were all other rally games fail hard,i SO Much want to play C.McRae but it's just not possible with the crap controls. In case you support controller:do you still need a beta tester?
MFI Support, it does indeed now I've got a cracking setup here that I just tested, I'll post a screenshot later! (I've only tested with the MadCatz CTRLi)
Thats especially great because i have the madcatz micro But i'm not SO happy with the dead zones directly arround the center position of the sticks and therefore i would love to see a sensitivity opton for controller as well.If it's not already in the game
Well I was aiming for End of October beginning of November but I need to speak with my friends at Apple as well before I set a date in stone. Also I need to finish building all the tracks and create the "game flow". Other than that though the core is all pretty much done. (I want it to be perfect to maximise its chance at success!) Rest assured there will be continuing updates on here, and on the Facebook page as usual! (www.rush-rally.com will link you over to Facebook at the moment)
I already had a look at your FB page and some more videos,it surely looks great and will be a no brainer for me (and it's always nice to see a developer working together with the community)
Are you guys still accepting beta applications? I would love to test the game! I bought the original and was addicted to it.
Yeah we can fit more in, it's still only with a few people at the minute but I will roll it out to all before 8th Sept as I'm away on holiday then and it would be nice to have some feedback to come back to!
Morning, I have made another beta sub to Apple and will release this to the current beta testers when it is ready. Pending their approval I'll unleash it to all who have applied so far. I'll keep you posted. Given the feedback on the App-Spy video (which is quite an old build now) I've made Spain look more real (it was far too "cartoony" looking). You'll also find Finland is now available to test. I need feedback on how hard people are finding it as the tracks are really narrow. I have to say for some reason videos recorded on the device don't make the game look as nice as it does when playing it for some reason so i'll be recording a video of me playing it later (probably on the iPod with the game pad!)
I've also reset the save data and leaderboards as I tweaked all the tracks and surfaces, so the current leaderboards ghosts are not valid anymore!
I've noticed this in the video as well (as it's the same featured on pocketgamer). That was the first thing i saw from your game and was not overly impressed by the look of it.But it piqued my interest enough to reaserch a little more and what i found so far was a pleasant surprise i'm sure now your game looks much better than in this video.
Yeah, I guess though its always going to happen, just watching the Attract mode looks great on the device, but the videos are not great when watched on a 24" monitor! (As expected as its a mobile game). I'll try and get some footage recorded late anyway on both Android and iPhone so people can see it being properly played in action.
Also its very clear that the tracks are FAR too wide still after watching that video from pocket gamer, it makes it look cartoony because of that, so i've narrowed it all down a bit.
I've recorded some videos of it in action with the pad, I'll edit them first thing in the morning and then get them uploaded!
