Just tested battery again, looks better, just played through four stages in Finland.. Dropped from 84% to 81% according to my battery app.. I'll keep an eye on it but looks good, cheers

I have to admit I still don't have a new gen console and was holding off until RR2 was done. So I think i'll disappear doing the same for a month or so before starting the next project.
Well, I played DiRT Rally on my PC with a wheel and it's fantastic. RR2 is great, too. I have to say it greatly exceeded my expectations. Sadly I have no time to play it just now...
With work and everything else, its very hard to game mobile and console. I do love my PS4 tho, pretty sick stuff indeed. Haven't played Dirt. Sounds like I need to. New Tomb Raider has been eating up my ps4 time. Hehe
Hmm, just opened the app again... (I've now tried this a couple of times). The first stage I run after I open the app sucks the life out of my battery... It just dropped from 76% to 63% after one stage. When I run the next stage it uses hardly anything 63% to 61%.. Strange.. This has happened three times I've tested it now... Loses around 10 - 12% straight after launching and running 1 stage, then settles.. I have no explanation...
Sorry to report again, just fired up the game. First stage, battery went from 62% to 47%, 2nd stage, 47% to 43%.
Which device are you running on and ios version? Been running this update on my 6s+ 9.0.2. Haven't noticed any radical drain on my battery. Have to run it on my iPad air 2. Weird, indeed GPS.
Ok, just ran maybe 27 laps of rally cross on 6s+ and was at 99% and only down to 95% after races. I have visuals maxed as well. Maybe you should reinstall, GPS.
Granted, I always keep my brightness at 25%. Brightness seems to be the battery destroyer. After I played maybe 10 min of Pocket Ball and it reduced me to 86%. Lol, that lil game chews battery.
I'm on a Gen 6 iPod, latest iOS. I think I'll give the reinstall a go, cheers. Report back soon. Thanks folks. Edit: re install seems to have helped, I also dropped my brightness a tad, it was pretty low anyway, and lowered the detail to medium. Just ran 3 stages and battery dropped from 99 to 93%. Love this game... Cannot wait to lay some dollars down ##
