This one is for you Crabman! This is how the trees look at the moment in Finland. Last night I made them look better and also stopped them rotating incorrectly in bonnet cam mode (these fixes won't be in the next build though, just the quantity only)

Liking the new build so far, one small thing I noted, switching on metric doesn't seem to change anything in this build. I'm a kph kinda person #
Damn, I'll take a look. How are you all finding the update? Do you prefer the racing line? Does it feel much better than the last version? Tonight I'll try and add the world championship times to the database so you can compare with other people too (if you are logged in of course) Also, does the trophy screen work properly I never tested it on ios/android, only on PC!
Really like the new racing line for corners only... Sweden might be my only struggle, I seem to lose the track every now and again there.. The car unlock and trophy screens look great I took screenshots but the app is not letting me add them for some reason
Great stuff, I'm toying with adding some more detail on the track now too as its needed (so things like puddles, darker patches where people have raced etc etc) this will make Sweden easier. All that is polish though once i'm fully happy with all the tracks and the progression of it (I'm still stuck with Spain as I hate the "look" of it at the moment, and i need to start adding logs/huts/wind turbines etc etc!)
okay,here we go: 1.Finland and sweden are great with all the new trees although the performanance on finland (but not sweden) suffered a bit.Seems to be the most demanding (performance wise) rally now.If you still can improve it a bit...But DON`T reduce the trees please 2.Racing line works most of the time really well and is my favorite now.The copilot is still wrong a bit too often and in rare cases both are wrong,creating some dangerous situations here and there 3.Cups and cars (unlock) looks good and although it`s not"realistic"to change the car in a championship after each rally,i quite enjoyed to try the unlocked car in the next rally. 4.I played yesterday until spain and i really liked the game flow (the chronology of rallies).Especially argentina right after sweden was a breathtaking difference.Especially the first argentina track is SO fast,you are really flying over it I also don`t think spain is THAT bad.Fast and some nice jumps. issues: i had a lot of crashes unfortunately,on Air 2 and 5s.More than ever before.could happen right after the race (progress not saved) or in the middle of it.Mostly in sweden but not always.Also,the game always crashed (even twice!) after i restarted it.I switched off WLAN and at least the immediate crashes after restart the game disappeared.Could be a gamecenter issue? RR was the only app running and i also restarted the devices before i started to play. 2.The Turbo sound seems a tad too loud in bonnet view.It sounds great and i know...bonnet...but it`s louder than the engine itself 3.controller support still inconsistent but i guess you know that 4.It`s still not clear why i should be happy about a new,unlocked car other than...i unlocked a new car.some easy stats to compare (other than the complex tuning menu) it with the current car maybe? I wanted to write more but i "forgot" to write down stuff while i was playing (thats a good sign,no?) and i`m at work now.I´ll play the rest of the WRC later and deliver probably more feedback. edit: oh,i still have that one wish about a huge jump.At the end of sweden track six (or was it 5?) there is a very long straight...c`mon,bring it on
I could send you some crashlogs by the way but not all of them since selecting the whole log before you can copy it is a real pain (there is no"select all"for text available).They are LONG but i know they can be very helpful.
Are you running 100% res again or leaving it at the auto gfx setup. All these new trees are quite cheap to render on a smaller res screen!
can you tell me with what letter the RR crashlogs begin?With R? Just so i don`t have to search too long.It`s also a long list
i used my"extreme"setting again (on ipad).Reso full up to 100% but shadows low and reflections to low or medium.That works very well on most tracks but on finland i also had to reduce the reso to 80% especially on stage 3 (night and rain).
Next crash after i started the game.The gamecenter message appeared and in the same moment i pressed"next".Then nothing (hang),then crash.
I think I know what these could be. I'll check my xcode tomorrow as I think I get crash logs now anyway. If not you can get them from your device but I can't remember how off the top of my head!
