That makes sense, I hadn't thought of that...perhaps in that context it opens up more vehicles in the future.. I really hope this does well so that you are able to develop it further. More cars, more countries, would be fantastic.

I haven't got it, I think it's out now.. I've seen some of the gameplay on the VVV channel on you tube, those guys review and show gameplay from all kinds of racing games. Maybe you should check them out and see if they'll show some of RR2 Dirt when it's ready #
I'm loving rush rally 2 I just need to slow down when it comes to coners sometimes as I usally flip car over nothing to due with game it just me not wanting to break lol
I definitely agree but currently it's just a bit unbalanced.On the first 2-3 rallies i experienced stuff like: suspension 70% damaged after one stage and without leaving the track.That seems a bit unrealistic. But of course i also don't like it when you make no bigger mistakes and you can always just pull all slider completely to the left.That's the case in some of the later rallies. As i said,just some fine adjustments needed
Soooo I've kept the frequency of the corners high in Germany and Australia but halved the severity of them and boy is it fun. Corner after corner of quick but not sharp turns! So expect some new tracks soon

I was away all weekend unfortunately. I'll try and get something this week for you. hopefully once Wednesday has gone I can get back onto Rush Rally 2 in the evenings once more instead of DIY in my living room!!
This lunch time I messed about with using the bill board system (Grass/Bushes) to make masses of trees in the distance, and it works really well. This is only a first pass but I'm hoping I can really populate finland and sweden now. Like I have always said though, game first, then make it look prettier The best thing about it is that because they are billboards, they dont look like a flat polygon on the side of the track and look very 3d whilst driving past them.
I know I am gonna regret this, its another obstacle to avoid, and does an incredible amount of damage, but a key aspect in Germany is Hinkelsteins!
I'll get them in don't you worry I've done another pass on Finland and made that the first rally as well. Can't decide what to do with Spain yet as it doesn't do anything for me at the moment. I'm planning on doing a build tonight.
As promised a build has been submitted changes are (pending review still) All new Finland and Sweden tracks (similar track layout but they've had a pass on them) I've also set the target times in the fast car and scaled the championship down, I suspect that most wont get past Finland at the moment as it needs a bit more balancing still! Finland has about 3x more trees as does sweden Racing line only visible when it needs to be (if enabled, selected with intermediate) Car unlock screens Trophy Screens Adjusted audio, you should hear snow and gravel alot more Checkpoints work again and generally loads of little tweaks here and there You will also have everything reset again due to the track changes, but on the plus side you have another 12 tracks to play.
