Great, its worth noting that Finland is a bit sluggish with the extra trees, i'll sort that out today. Also the times still have not been set so i'll try and set some good ones :)

I like the idea of varied stages, ie: morning or night, wet and/or dry, but then I'm not all about the leaderboards and worried how the times would be affected.

Tried the new build, initially it feels the best so far, for me it's pretty spot on, I'll do a few more runs and see how it goes.
I like the "more trees" in Finland too. Definitely helps.
Have you tried filling the forest, so to speak, full of trees.... Just wondering how that affects performance, I think it would look fantastic, but probably pushing it too far.
The car audio sounds great now too with the turbo blow off etc, sounds a bit more raw.
    Cheers

This build has only got half the audio changes too! I've also just added the Co driver voice for surface changes. Once I've sorted that and the times I'll try and get a build to apple this weekend so it can be approved early next week! Might have to give tilt a balance too...

A Quick update, I've sorted the tilt by adjusting a few params. I can lap quite quick with it and I've never been good at tilt games so hopefully its OK. It'll be in the next build (1.15).

Also I've fixed the graphics detect so it scales down in the correct order on the 5s leaving it looking pretty!

Also how do people feel about me upping the tyre squeel on tarmac?

    So,here's some more feedback :)

first:did you changed something graphically in the latest build?I have the feeling
that it runs slightly less smooth on my Air 2 than before. And i don't mean Finland (i know, more trees) but also spain.I use the same settings, but well...maybe it is really just a feeling because i'm using bonnet view all the time now.Which is faster than chase view but also make you realize a little stutter easier than before i guess.

    Second:first crash,yay :)

What i did?I closed all apps, restarted the ipad, switched on BT,paired the controller, started the game and...crash.I removed it from the task bar and started again.Maybe it was controller related because even after the restart the controller
was not working until the race started (afair it worked in the menu right before the race starts as well. Not for the menu of course but you could here the engine sound when pressing a button).

Another thing i noticed about finland:too much tarmac for my taste.
(thanks for the extra trees btw,it's better and you even don't look too much
    at the background anymore)

three things that hammered into my brain over the years regarding finland:

    1.trees (check)
    2.narrow (check)
    3.gravel (only)

Not saying it is wrong by any means but i even checked some finland rallies on youtube (coudn't spot tarmact) and since you already have a tarmac only track with spain i think pure gravel (dry and wet) would set it more apart.

And there is one corner (3rd or 4th) at finland stage 5 (check picture) where i think
it should be a medium one instead of marked as easy.It hammered me into
the nature two times in a row.Compared two most other"easy"corner this feels
    definitely more difficult.

I tried all cars now and while most of them have a nice sound (although quite similar),two cars were
surprisingly different:i tried the mini and it sounded aweful, sorry ;)
I don't know what exactly.Maybe a bit like an electro car (maybe because it is? :D )

But then i tried the Austin Metro and man..that sounds like an agressive animal "ROOOOoooaaaarrr"

Imo this shoe box looks butt ugly but the sound is top notch and
i think it will be my favorite car.

no feedback without more graphic requests:

1.i think the dust/dirt/smoke behind the car could be less transparent.Or more ;)

2.some spectator here and there (with cheering and fanfare/horn sounds...you know what i mean) would be great for a more immersive rally athmosphere. You could remove/reduce some other details (trees) at areas with spectator to keep the demand
as it is now). And it really doesn't have to be very detailed models nor animated. If you place them at fast sections (with jumps)...nobody will (or should) care how detailed they are.

And yes to tyre squeal on tarmac :)

Looking forward to trying it out!
Tyre squeal is neither here nor there for me, spittle is ok, but too much may be over the top.

    Booooo! (But thanks)

Agreed, it's going, I'll try and get it in the next build but running out of time tonight before my wife starts getting angry ;)

Will have a look, as its all auto generate it may be "just" on the boundary of the corner types

Agreed, its being changed and now on the list formally!

Lol I think I must be up there as the quickest turn around on suggestions to date!?

I need to revisit this stuff, i think i can make it "denser" but lower on the screen to avoid it killing the frame rate.

Ok, and as you mentioned they dont have to be animated I'll give them a try! I might even request some photos to get you in the game ;)!

Thanks again, this game is getting better because of you lot :)

Are you sure its stage 5? My stage 5 has tarmac and doesn't look like that picture?

Ok i've got it, its on the crest of a hill so you lose load and get spat off the track. I'll have to do something with that for all tracks I think.

yep,and you also gained a lot of speed on the section before :)

    One (more) wish i have:

doesn't matter if in finland or somewhere else but one or two parts in the game were the track opens up a bit and you are facing a huge jump:cool:

oh and one more thing:is it possible to make the steering a tad more responsive on controller (but i guess that belongs to the"sensitivity option"request anyway, that would still be the best case so you can probably ignore this post)

I think this is needed anyway, at the minute it uses the same setup for the digital pad (in terms of exposed lock at speed).

HAHA! This is definitely a wish list one for now, its a tricky one ( I will put some "larger" jumps in though for sure, not sure it will be a "huge" one over a crack though!

Was it just me or did anyone had the same thing? I feel the touch control at times not responsive specifically to multi touch. Example while holding the accelerator and try to steer but the steering seems at times not registering properly unless you release the accelerator.

Thank you for the beta invite! I've put about 40mins of race time in so far on my iPhone 6+, using both touch screen and also my moga Rebel mfi controller. Only one "force quit" crash so far. Really impressive beta!! I'm impressed with the handling as well as the variety of landscapes on these first two locations!

I think the handbreak feels pretty solid. Its a tad hard to use on the touch screen, but it feels really nice while using the mfi controller... probably because you can press it without moving your finger away from the gas trigger.

Overall, The handling feels superb using the moga Rebel mfi controller! I usually use the behind the car view on racing games, but the inside the car / hood view on this game just looks and feels amazing!

The only thing that's not working (not sure if it's supposed to) is the menus... The moga rebel only has one "menu/pause" button , but right now that button seems to be set to "go back" and there isn't a button to go "next". Perhaps you could make "gas" and "brake" buttons also go "next" and "back" in menus, or some other sort of fix? No scrolling in menus at the moment either.

I'll post more thoughts after some more playtime. But this is impressive so far! This game is going to be truly special.
