No big deal, and thanks for the reports- those are some good bugs you found! I have run into a few problems myself on the boss levels (5, 10, 15), especially if you use the Forest Fairy character. Expect fixes for all of these, plus a survival mode with random enemies in the next beta. Thanks again guys! I appreciate the feedback/bugs
I've sent 2 more Bug Reports in your email. I am loving the game and almost done with it. I've maxed out almost every characters in the game. I am now in level 12.
Just got them and replied- thanks... The last boss is messed up too- he is supposed to shoot first, and turn your party against each other- but the players are shooting first right now. I fixed it, but I am waiting to post another build until I take care of these other bugs and get the survival mode in the game. I'm a little worried that playtime is too short- hopefully the random survival mode will help out with that. Thanks! Mike
I think the playtime is adequate. Particularly, if players go back and try to 3 star levels; I have yet to do so on any level yet. Adding the survival mode will be icing on the cake. In my opinion, most IOS games are too long. I prefer a couple hours of very high quality gameplay. Your game certainly provides that.
I can't wait to jump into that! Will it be accessible from the beginning or will we first need to clear the main story?
I think I should only unlock it once you have all the characters in the game available, so I am leaning towards unlocking it after you defeat the dark master on level 15. I had hoped to get it in this beta, but I ran out of time- that's how it goes sometimes.... thanks, mike
Just a curiosity: how do you handle bug reports? Is some custom system of yours, or something that comes with Test Flight?
I use a website called IssueBurner.com... There are lots of others that do the same thing, but I like this one because I just forward the bug reports to [email protected] and it logs them for me.
from my iPhone 4 screenshot... ------------------------------ a bit suggestion.. - i see that the most active hero in this game is archer eventhough at long-range attack...and the women holding a dagger is slow responding in term of attacking the enemy eventhough at face to face...maybe we should consider the movement, responseness should be take in the 1st place.
Thanks for the suggestions. You're not the first to suggest keeping the buttons at the bottom static. Perhaps I will grey them out when you're not allowed to click on them. The order they shoot is important, especially in later levels with the Bear, Forest Fairy, Tree, etc... thanks Mike
Beta 2 Hi guys: Beta 2 just went out. Highlights: -Random enemy survival mode. -Improved game play balance -Tons of bug fixes
Game is a little harder now. I cannot get past on level 12. My troups are getting wiped out by those Zombies. I think the Zombies are a little overpowered? I had all my troops fully upgraded but wiped out easily by those zombies.
You are 100% correct- I did crank up the difficulty. All enemies do 1.25x more damage and have 1.25x more armor. I will slide it back down to previous levels for the release. It's always hard to judge where I should set it, because I have so much experience playing the game
