I'll give you a rating that I feel you deserve... After I play it that is... =oP **edit** and MEH... I really like the graphics... but the gameplay is bleh... I think I'm loosing my interest in endless runners again...
I'm not an endless runner fan so I won't be getting this but I wanted to chime in and say that the graphics look awesome.
My next game is going to be a physical puzzle like square&ball bast on the same graphics Glad you like that
FYI dev, I tried playing with Airplane mode on and the 'could not connect to upload score' reminder kept popping up. It wouldn't stop, so I deleted the app and then cried softly, because the graphics are very cool but the gameplay is like Robot Unicorn Attack, only not fun.
Despite everyone saying this isn't fun here, I love endless runners, I think they are perfect for the kind of gaming I use my iPhone for and I mean it is free... so I'll be trying this one out.
I agree that endless runners are perfect for iPhone, but this one has some gameplay issues. It looks amazing, but I didn't do more than 4 or 5 runs before deleting.
Runners are one of my favorite genres on the iPhone, but I'm not a fan of runners with small platforms and non-stop jumping...especially when they compensate with floaty physics. Also, for a runner to get my attention, it has to have some element besides running and jumping that adds depth, whether it's something like the shooting and air mechanic in Air Supply, the chain hopping in Cuddle Bears, the power ups in Dalton, the combo collection in NinJump, or the tiny bit of platforming in Shark!Shark! I really really liked the aesthetic, but like SV, I found the gameplay a little bleh.
I wouldn't know - I made every effort to get this to work (deleting, reinstalling, the all powerful on off) - nothing. Whenever I clicked the play button, it just closed, every time. But thanks for the post, chess. I think I'll take a look into those games.
That's too bad. Also take a look at Rogue Runner, which is always free, and Demolition Dash, which is free today. And crap, SV was right...I have become that guy...
