Visuals are fantastic. Good game. I usually only have endless or random games on my phone, but since this is 100 levels, is it safe to assume you'll add more over updates in the future? Edit: I don't think I'll ever make it to 100 anyway. It seems impossible without time being added for speed or something like that...this will require a lot of practice!
If it's a success, we'd consider it. There are time bonuses, but yes the first 100 levels should pose a challenge for a while. We might add more later.
Game is really damn fun and sports the usual polish and sleekness Coding Monkeys is famous for. But boys!!! Do I really feel old now!!! I can't see myself ever surpassing level 10 And people (above me) in the leaderboards are clearly cheaters After a while I realized how important are the bonuses, especially early in the game...but each other (speed and precision) works against each other so you have to be very careful. Back to feeling old...ahem...playing the game!!!
It's a joke right? Is there really anyone who completed all 100 levels? Hmmm...on a second thought....I do not really want to know.
Don't worry, you get into the flow after a while. The highest we have seen is level 89 so far. But that's by one of our beta testers.
89! Wow. I would love a random mode where the rules get mixed up a bit so that if you suck like me you can still get a sense of the many other rules that lie ahead in later levels, and it's not always the same ones in the same order. Just a thought. Also, I'm sure Android people would love this! My wife would compete with me if she could play it on her Moto X.
Game is really incredibly fun. Managed to make to level 8....madness. Two things. 1) if you get interrupted, like an incoming call, it would be helpful to return to the game in a pause state...you never know you could receive a call just when you was about to hit level 99. 2) I've installed the game on iPad and honestly it's already perfectly fine. EDIT: level 12 (432 points). LOL at the bird....MADNESS.
Thanks! We will have a look at how to make 1) better. Right now the game pauses while you get a call and unpauses after the call.
Found the game so tempting, I bought it even despite the ios 7.1 restriction. I changed the minimum os version to 7.0 in the info.plist, installed the game without any problems, but it wont run. After seeing the start screen and even hearing the music for a second or two the app crashes. Did anyone else with ios 7.0 found a solution? Or is there any chance to persuade the devs to set the requirements a little bit lower? *charming smile*
This game is AWESOME. I dont think it works that well on my ipad mini TBH (functionally it works fine). It really is a game made for phones first. Sort of similar to Duet (at least for me) in that way. My hands can't move around the ipad screen fast enough to get past the first few levels, while on my phone I am already pushing towards level 20. Also whenever I see "Flawless" on the screen, I read it in a Beyonce / Nicki Minaj voice, which cracks me up.
I'm confused by the timer comments on people mentioning about being quick, do some levels have timers? Is it a game where each puzzle is seperate or you get so much time to get as far as you can into the 100?
I'm not sure if the timer completely resets each level or if you just get a few bonus seconds added with each level you complete but, if you watch the videos, you can see there is a very tight timer running on all levels with you score for the level is based on the time remaining.
Yes, the whole game has a timer. You start with 20 seconds and each next level you start with the time remained from previous one plus or minus a number that depends on how fast or slow you were (I think it takes 12 as base...if you completed the previous level in 11 next level you get a -1 or something like that). Of course the trick is doing well the early stages to accumulate 'time' for the next, more difficult, ones. As I seem to be completely unable to earn the 'fast' (level in under 5 seconds) bonus....I always aim for the 'flawless' one, even if it costs time (you get a 2X bonus on your level score). Usually I'm not a fan of these types of games but this is utterly brilliant. When you enter 'the zone' and keep momentum it's really engaging...then when you see a friend beating your challenge and making a score impossibly high...you would like to throw your iPhone on the wall. BTW...I seem to get much better results playing on my iPad....probably due to the larger tiles. I wish the game would pull the highscores from Game Center tough...right now I have two different high scores on iPhone and iPad.
Only played a few times and not usually my kind of game but this is fantastic! This would be even better than it already is if it added some kind of multiplayer where you both got given the same board layout and raced against each other. You could even do it turn-based like Quiz-Up where you don't need your opponent to be there, they take there attempt later and you both see the scores/stats later.
