Dragon Age is for Mac too, but only as a digital download version.

Also, I don't know what you like, but I'd recommend Baldur's Gate 1&2 and Fallout 1&2.

You can also use Windows emulators to play some older Windows-only RP games, like Planescape: Torment.

I can attest that the Dragon Age port is excellent. There's a bunch of other cool stuff there, too -- Assassins Creed 2, GTA 3 Trilogy, etc -- much of it on sale.

You should check out Steam, too: their Mac catalogue is growing.

There's always World of Warcraft, of course -- like everything Blizzard makes, it's available on both Macs an PCs.

And don't miss out on Torchlight. :) Warhammer online is an Mmo, but it is free to play for Mac as well.

Funny -- when I mentioned steam, I was thinking Torchlight. But he's looking for something that is not top-down, otherwise I would have also recommended Diablo 2 and Dungeon Siege as well.,

Dragon Age is fantastic. Pretty sure you can download it directly from Bioware's site.

Not sure, frankly. It's old news that the Mac has much fewer games than the PC. If anything is shocking is that we've been getting more decent ports recently.

Which reminds me: both Deathspank games are out for the Mac as well, and on sale on Steam.
