Sadly there isn't and I have to endure this jarring dichotomy between anime sprites and English voices. But I must admit that some of the characters are rather decently voiced!
This brings back memories of SNES RPGs, I haven't yet tried it but I really love the art style and the nostalgia.
Oh but she has the cutest little button nose!!! This game looks very cool to me - bought but not played yet - looking forward to it though! Jamie.
Omg, I am spending a lot on iOS games tonight, but wow, this must be the best release week of 2012 so far. Five killer releases. Across Age is still one of my favorite iOS RPGs to date.
Enjoying the game so far. It's an action-RPG that's pretty heavy on story like Across Age was. The writing isn't half-bad. Thank goodness you can turn off the voices though. Kind of wish those weren't included. Probably would have cut the file size by quite a bit. I like how the in-game graphics look. The cutscenes aren't too spectacular. Pretty similar battle system to AA. The price is a bit steep. I was hoping it would be $6.99 like Across Age was when it launched before I saw the price-tag. If this ends up being as fun as AA and lasts just as long (25 hours to complete the main quest-line), it'll be fine though. Like I said, AA is still one of my favorite iOS RPGs. Hopefully I find time this summer vacation to play all my RPGs. My backlog is nearly at 50 now xP.
Keep in mind that this is a port of a PC JRPG(even though it is about 12 years old now)...so it is quite a lot more meatier than Across Age and yeah.. I am playing it with the voices turned off too =/
Oh, that makes a lot more sense. I wasn't really aware of the history of the game. That's not really a bad thing though!
I second that....voices are a bit cheesey but doable ....only played 10 min and havent even got to kill any monsters yet....ill post later ......plus MK on the vita is calling my name to much to focus on this right now
about using the special attack, I figured it when battling the boss.. can't kill it without the special attack... before that, I only think of the icon as an attack well done
