So this is $4.99 plus it has IAPs? Also noticed the filesize is only 55MB or so...seems a little expensive for such a lightweight game.
there is loot, but appearance of character still always the same. yep. but at the start game downloads other resources ~500-600 mb.
Yes. And for the premium price you get a fair amount of the premium currency, which you can trade early on for more loot space, tons of gold, and other items. I don't see myself spending more real cash, but others may see it differently. This is feeling like a "real" game -- I could easily see playing this on a 3DS. The writing is quite good, with many characters (including the protagonist) showing real personality. And so far it feels quite polished. It was developed by Chocoarts, who have been doing decent games on the platform for years -- and it shows.
Funny, I posted just a few days ago in the General Discussion forum looking for newer KRPGs. This looks great! Instabuy (with hopes it's one of the better Kemco games -- although one of the few action RPGs they've put out).
i'm also a big loot guy in rpgs, so how does the loot work? same gear but you get mats to upgrade? or do different pieces of gear drop? also is there a color-coded system for rares, uniques, etc? thanks in advance !
What I've seen so far is named equipment: from a bone knife to dirk to kitchen knife, etc. A few things have come as enemy drops, but most of the equipment I've gotten so far has been at shops or from dungeon vendors. I've also gotten a few other magical items from kills (including an exp bonus gem). Frankly, I'm not finding this to be as loot driven as I expected. Less Diablo and more JRPG.
Wow. I am blown away by the quality of this. Truly impressive. Guess the dev is the same one that did the Almightree for Crescent Moon? This is much better than that so far in terms of everything from art design to the writing. Any thoughts on what's best to spend the rubies on? I spent some on ability points but didn't realize how many rings and other stuff is in the "special store". Assuming all of it is not necessary like other Kemco games.
I didn't want to completely lose the challenge, so I just picked up 1000 gold. I can see spending some on an extra pack. But you are right -- there's no need to spend any rubies, at least so far (I'm about 3 hours in, level 10).
Yeah, doubt I will buy more. I still have 110. There's some rings that are enticing but I'll wait too and see if I even need them.
I totally agree.. I am loving this game. Art, Music, Controls, Story, Simple Fighting, the Quests, beautiful UI, and more.. Now this is the game I have been wanting to play for a while. An hour or so in and I am really loving it.
