Yeah I think the app description implied that the jewels would allow for unlimited growth or something like that. Really cool. Though I wonder will at some point the game will be too easy or what? I'm progressing slowly.. just got the air ship lol.
Anyone know if there's New Game Plus? Maybe after the post-story plot that someone mentioned? Wondering if I can earn more IAP currency through that (for the mentioned bonus area)... I might prefer to earn more just playing through the game again, instead of grinding for it (can it even be grinded for?) I already bought the game, but anyway, might as well ask about this.
No need to worry about that. There are things lurking out there that will provide a challenge no matter what. Yesterday I encountered a rare enemy on the world map that wiped my level 400 party in a single round. Using a better jewel load out and a little luck I was able to get my revenge but.... Plot line stuff may get pretty easy if you over level, but there's plenty of challenge in this game if you seek it out.
You hit level 400?? Damn! How many hours? Sounds like this game is definitely worth the money especially in terms of length. Sorry Intendro. No idea..
Still don't know about new game plus but you can grind iap currency. Boulders in high level areas can drop 1-2 not infrequently and you can equip jewels to increase the boulder encounter rate. Still won't be fast, but you'll be spending a lot of time in these areas anyway if you choose to tackle all the missions. My game claims 60 hours played but I'm sure you can achieve where I'm at with way less. I'm very slow and methodical in my play style.
I just completed the game on normal and got the normal ending. But i dont understand how to continue with the post game stuff. Appreciate if someone can help me out thxs!
Load the saved game marked with a star. You'll be back before the boss. Fight the boss again and this time you'll be given an option halfway through. Choose no (and survive) and you'll get more story and regions unlocked. Anyone know if there is a goal to the barrel challenge? Trying to decide between working on that some more vs farming the final S rank
Got the good ending and can confirm there is no new game plus. The secret battle arena gives IAP currency as rewards so there is another way for you to farm them in game besides hoping for boulder drops. I got the barrel challenge up to level 101 with no reward, so I'm just going to assume its endless. All that leaves for me to do is the final S rank, and sub quest 15 which for some reason I can't find anywhere.
Found metal slimed but they are too fast and when they do stick around I always miss them on attacks. How many hits does it take to drop these guys? I am also curious how to obtain more 20% EXP jewels. I found one but not sure where I got it from. Pretty sure it was a boss drop.
Depends on your difficulty level. There is a way to do more damage, though. Taking the time to explore the jewel crafting tree is well worth it. Specifically: Spoiler (Green+Green=Hi Speed)+(Green+Red=Angry)=20 which makes every hit do exactly 20 damage. As with almost every jewel, you can craft them. Spoiler (Green+Yellow=Skill)+(Green+Yellow=Skill)=XP
Good stuff Syro. I don't even think about difficulty as I have played only on expert and never changed it. Looking to grind some metals now and this will absolutely help even if a few escape the first couple of turns lol.
Combining 20 with Next is basically like engaging God mode in metal regions. It almost feels like cheating, but if you play on expert you will absolutely need the levels. Next is Spoiler Amulet + HP/MP == (red+blue) + (red+yellow)
Thanks Syro. Should be able to knock some of them out now... I have a few Next and only one 20. Didn't see an option to combine. Will have to check it out!
Yeah, I went to bed and it clicked there haha. Ground my way to lvl 100 pretty fast with those jewels both on Felix. Bumped in to a few metal lobsters but they have fled each time before I have been able to even attack them.
Agarest Zero is a solid game. I still need to finish it but I enjoyed it a lot. One of these days I will complete it. So much to do in that game!
