Hey all, I mapped out some of the synthesizing..this is incomplete but maybe this will help toward getting there. GAMMA green x2=hi speed red x2=mighty 10% bluex2=intelligence jewel yellowx2=hp recovery blue+green=exp step blue & red=amulet (caught off guard -10%) blue&yellow=MP recovery step yellow+red=hp&mp jewel (10%) yellow+green=skill 25% BETAS skill25% x2 = experience 20% int+hispeed=dwarf encounter 20% int+mighty=reduced encounters on world map int+hp recovery=flash (1.5 damage to light based) mighty+hispeed=mp 1000/limit at start of every battle (this is mp limit, not current) hispeed+hp recovery= variant (+1x damage each enemy at start of battle normal attacks only...I find this useful for Celine, whose low cost skills aren't that great. Facing 4 or 5 enemies, she will do 5 or 6 thousand damage for me... experience + hispeed=impatient (skill/magic wait time shortened) experience+intelligence=titan (20 more titan monsters, vit 30% up) experience+ mighty=attract (every step encounters) experience+ hp recover= limit break 10% up
I'm about 11 hours in and don't have much to add over what others here have said, other than to agree. This game represents a new height in kemco rpg feature-set. Grid system for certain powerups (similar to Illusion of Le'Phalcia), clean intuitive menu system, formations, reputation system with party members, side quests with log and visible icons over npcs, mission system, arena, overkills, limit breaks, combos, etc. That said, what ultimately matters is how well this is all tied together in gameplay/story/characters. To that point, although I'm still working through the game I am enjoying it so far. On the negative side, the world map seems awfully sparse. There is a lot of traveling to get to each town/dungeon. Also the IAP is noticeably more stingy than in other recent games. After 11 hours and 650 enemies killed, I've only accumulated 15 free currency. As usual, most of the desirable purchases are around 100. So unless this loosens up later in the game, it does seem like most purchases are out of reach without real cash. Can't really complain, since honestly it's been a little TOO loose in recent games. On the topic of difficulty modes, I toggle the difficulty at-will to keep the game fun. Generally that's been hard for regular encounters, and normal for bosses. But I've gone up to legendary (or whatever it is called) a few times too. Rewards at that level are pretty significant. Most likely we'll end up hunting metal enemies in a secret valley on the highest difficulty for gazillions of xp per battle later in the game anyway
Can anyone attest to how different the rewards are indifferent difficulties? Is it just experience and gold, are are there better steals and drops?
Pretty sure steals and drops don't change because they are listed in the bestiary. Anecdotally I would say the drop rate goes up, but I don't have any hard data to back that up
The story is actually really fun so far. I love the relationship with the cat and the lead character. It's even funnier that the cat is supposed to be their God
I think the Light Deity is in love with Zach... This holy sacred relationship, tbh. Is this legal? Is this blasphemy?
Well I haven't met her true form and everyone treats her like a dude so I'll hold my reservations Some of my favorite moments in this game are them throwing catnip LOL. I say the story isn't spectacular but it's a fun adventure. I have probably 5 Kemco games and I've already played this more than all of them combined. The others I actually kind of lost interest midway. Even the full 3D just felt really bland to me. I know people don't like voices but I wish Asdivine had a least some battle voices. I noticed a lot of newer Kemco games have been adding some minor voices at least.
Oh, you're not there, yet? Soon! And I agree this is definitely one title by KEMCO I can't stop playing to be honest, the story is typical but it's the humor that kept me going!
Yeah! I'm glad they found such a good translater. Now I know how important that is. I'm loving these characters right now. In a way I guess it's good that you can't get any more party members to allow for more development. And I like how ridiculous this cat is. She's getting abused by the priestess right now lol. I'm hitting 10 hours now!
For being a divine entity she sure doesn't act like one, haha! Yes! Having a good translator to me, personally, IS VERY IMPORTANT! I don't know if you own a Vita or heard of Sword Art Online? My goodness the localization BLOWS! I can't believe I paid $75 for that game, it's like they used Google Translate to do the work. Anyways 15 hours mark for me and I doubt I'm nearing the end, power leveling because this boss is tough to beatdown! :/
Oh actually i don't. The iphone system is the only thing I own :/ Are you playing on normal or hard? Apparently you can change the difficulty at will. Funny how the 3rd boss was super hard for me but the 4th was super easy. I think having more enemies makes it a lot harder than 1v5. Btw do you know what the shortened words on the formations means? I'm using a fighter formation and it says VA attack up and AA speed up. I'm guessing VA is the vanguard so what is AA?
All Allies. As far as I have seen, Exe-Create has always had the same good translator. This just happens to be one of the better stories in their games.
Cool! Don't feel bad, My friends have PS3/PS4, all the fancy home consoles but I have handhelds and iOS device which according to my friends are not real games... But whatever! Playing on Normal all the way I have never liked switching difficulties back and forth but it seems even on Normal there are challenges, which is nice to be honest! I believe AA is All Allies like smegly has mentioned.
