One year prior, the world of Asdivine was enveloped by a brilliant flash of light. Since that time, the influence of shadow has only continued to grow ever more powerful across the face of the land. And though the event itself was undoubtedly connected with the heavens, few people seem to have realized the far-reaching implications of what transpired. Now turning to the present, a surprising revelation awaits a young man by the name of Zack and his childhood friend, Stella, in the capital from a chubby cat claiming to be none other than the Light Deity and declaring the world to be on the verge of a great collapse. Although skeptical at first, this band of unlikely adventurers soon finds this chance encounter to be only the beginning of an adventure set to not only change their lives, but their fates, as well. - Groundbreaking Visual Quality! Using the latest in visual expression capabilities for smartphones, the world of Asdivine has been rendered with stunning detail. From meandering clouds to lapping waves, sparkling magic to slithering creatures, and even dynamic skill effects, Asdivine Hearts breaks new ground in 2D turn-based RPGs! - Limitless Play and Loads of Content! By taking puzzle piece-like jewels and setting them in a box known as a "rubix," players are able to customize characters in ways like never before! From having lighting-fast reflexes to berserker status, it is all possible with the power of a rubix! Moreover, with plenty of subquests and rare items to go around, there is never a reason to find yourself without something to do! And with a battle arena, treasure to dig for, and an enemy guide to collect information for, there is always something to do for even the most casual and hardcore gamers. And I love just about every one of their iOS titles. So I'll probably wind up picking this one up... But not right now. I use to buy Kemco games right there on the spot every time I got an e-mail from them letting everyone know another game was available worldwide. Up until about 7 months ago. I've just got SO MANY Kemco titles I have yet to play through, and with all the other games I'm finally getting a chance to play because I'm going through my backlog (just today I hit my 6 hour mark in the iOS version of FFVI because back when I bought it -the week it was released because it's one of my favorite RPGs ever- I was in the middle of so many other games... Then newer games came out and piqued my interest... Ect...), so even if I did buy this today, I wouldn't get to it until some time next year... I think it would have been better for me to just pick one or two of Kemco's development teams and only buy their releases... Also, after reading Shaun's (fantastic) reviews, it makes it hard to want to start up a lot of the ones that I haven't played yet because I know exactly the type of clichéd stories and simplistic battle/equip/skill mechanics/systems that await me... EXE-Create and some of Hit-Points titles seem like the only ones I'll ever be interested in enough to devote the time to playing them all the way through... Maybe I'll just have to snag it and force it into my 'Next Up' list of games to be played. defunct32 Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2013 254 0 0 #14 defunct32, Oct 30, 2014 Last edited: Oct 30, 2014 I bought it for $5, so far the localization is pretty on point but the battle system although dynamic as they put it still suffers from minimal animation if you're expecting something wow-worthy then don't get your hopes up! I'm pretty happy with the battles though it's quite fluent. The graphics are sharp and clear. Typical skill, magic options set up... Pretty boring already. The story is meh; good vs evil, teens going on an adventure and meet up with potential members. The game has this Rubix system whereby you will earn, find or buy items called Jewel and you can attach them to your characters, these are stat boosters like HP+4, MP+2 etc, it's similar to Illusion of La'Phaciel and you can equip magic thus learning their elements and each character does have their own element too, they'll learn those magic by default but equipping another magic gem will allow you to learn additional magics (like Alphadia?). Oh! Brownie points To KEMCO/EXE for not having obnoxious character names. heringer Well-Known Member Oct 2, 2011 807 0 0 #15 heringer, Oct 30, 2014 Got this on Android to try (since you have two hours to test before asking for a auto refund) and I was glad to see the first Kemco title with no framerate issues. Scrolling is finally smooth. Could this be the first Kemco title I play? It looks decent enough and the translation seems fine so far. smegly Well-Known Member Mar 27, 2012 990 0 0 NY, NY #16 smegly, Oct 30, 2014 At the very least, Alphadia Genesis and Illusion of L'Phalcia won't have those either. defunct32 Well-Known Member Jun 25, 2013 254 0 0 #17 defunct32, Oct 30, 2014 Wow, 2 hours to try before a refund? But that policy of 2 hours trial before a refund is still great! How are you liking the game so far? (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
