How strange, I had assumed that a link to an app in the app store had to point at the same app (the same file) in every app store, but it seems not! UK app store, Royal Envoy (Premium) has no IAP (and is currently free), Royal Envoy is free+IAP.
I downloaded the premium version (dragon on left) from the UK store. It does have the IAP . Guess no one has bought it yet so the IAP isn't showing up within the store listing.
Isn´t there some kind of glitch mentioned somewhere on TA about games by this dev where you start the game in airplane mode first time and you don´t get the IAP? I checked my games and i can´t find an option for IAPs anywhere in the menues.
Odd, I downloaded the full, no buy button, playing right along... US store. I wish they didn't make it so random. All I can say to anyone getting a glitchy one is to try to download again maybe?
Okay let me make sense of things. This is how the company work:- Trial/lite version: There's a buy button. IAP included. (Obviously) Premium/Full version: There is NO iap, normally. ie. When the app is not on sale for the price of zero, there is no iap. It is indeed the full premium game. When the app is on sale for free the FIRST day, there is also no iap/no buy button. Only throughout the rest of the 'free' sale, will the iap appears. When the free sale is over, the iap disappears and the app reverts to the completely full premium version. As such, the way to counter the iap/buy button when you install the game NOT on the first day of the free sale is to go into airplane mode. Or wait until the free period is over and the price goes up and you have the complete premium full game without iap. PS: Someone should sticky this explanation. lol.
Thanks for the suggestions. I just re-downloaded and started the game in airplane mode and now the buy button has gone
Thanks for the advise. It works on my iPhone. 1. Download app as usual. 2. Don't start the game yet! (Important step) 3. Turn on Airplane mode 4. Now start the game. The buy button won't show up. 5. I played one level before I quitted the game. Probably not need but just to be safe. 6. Turn off Airplane mode 7. Play as usual If you have played the game, you have to delete it first. Guess you can wait till the price goes back up too? Pretty decent time management game, well worth the trouble.

I ended up deleting it, and then re-installing it (the premium version) - and turning airplane mode on the first time I started up the game... and now the "buy full version" icon is gone, and I was able to start playing the 3rd island without being asked to purchase the game... so I'm not sure what it was that made it work this time (re-downloading or turning wi-fi off...) but thank you guys for the info! =oD
