I'd like to think that these frequent updates means the Mobirate gang is doing quite well with this game. Because based on this thread it would seem only a handful of us are interested.
Need some feedback, please Do you feel that after getting turbines the wheels become less viable? I mean, turbines let you climb hill much easier?
Hmm I do always have one turbine just incase there's a tricky hill part, but I wouldn't say they were overpowered.
No, I don't think so. Like SP said, I at least keep one turbine for steep inclines. I have all my wheels completely upgraded, but I always seem too need a little tap of the turbos to get me over the top of a big hill. The wheels fully upgraded alone won't get you through every lever. I think there is a good balance between all the add-ons. It would be nice to see more things to add on though. I have just about everything fully upgraded and almost every track completed. After I finish the last track, I'm not sure what else to do besides beat my own time. Keep up the great work!
Anybody finished day 38 yet? I'm finding it impossible I've tried it a lot of times over the past two days and can't do it.
Anyway we have ideas for non-turbine levels, like a Jupiter with methane atmosphere. Using turbine will explode the rover
Haha interesting. Like the others said, turbines are used sparingly on very steep hills or to try and nudge the rover if it's stuck or upside down. It would be cool if you experiment with low/high gravity levels. One wrong boost and you're flung into space or crash forcefully. XD
Yea, different gravity levels would be an interesting twist. I'd love to see more parts also. I was thinking shock absorbers the other day would be a cool part. Something to help with landing or even really bumpy terrain.
Or bigger wheels that take up 2 or 4 squares? Maybe a passenger to get an extra reward at the end like the black boxes? Just more random parts shocks would be cool especially if you can rotate them and use them side ways.
Maybe a controlled piston or hammer component to correct position. It would be multidirectional based on position to ground or rotation to avoid crowding the rover with parts perhaps. I find attempting to use the jet for that purpose not only proves wasteful but hardly successful. A downward facing jet could be a possibility if it had separate controls.
You do know you can rotate the boosters/rockets so they face any direction sometimes I use them pointing down to hover over things.
Yes I know. But if I have some facing down and another facing back, they all fire together leading to forward/upward movement. Less control of the rover if you're going up a steep hill. Maybe additional controls for different jet directions like Angry Piggies.
Lol, I've been playing this game this whole time and never tried rotating the boosters! Hmm, learn something new everyday.
