    Hey,

I'm the developer of Room Escape in the app store. I am looking for feedback to make our next escape better. I have already changed the controls to make navigating easier. I'm open to any and all suggestions. :)

It should have a walkthrough in case you get stuck.

I might add a walkthrough to my website. I'd prefer to keep the walkthough out of the app, just in case people get tempted, it'll be the extra step to discourage those that will feel bad for getting help after they do it.

I agree, don't add a walkthrough in the game or it ruins the fun. The number one reason why people look for walkthroughs is because they're unmotivated to try to play themselves.

Please put a walkthrough somewhere. I stink at these games, but I love them. I'm stuck.

Shoot me a PM with where you're stuck, I'll give you a hint to move on.

I think the controls need work. Sometimes the swiping and touching seems unresponsive.

ETA: Also the ability to save progress.

Ok I just finished the game. The controls ARE responsive once you figure them out. Swiping does not occur on the whole screen, it occurs in the small area above the inventory button. At first I was trying to swipe across the whole screen and nothing was happening. You need to fix this and allow swipes over the whole screen. Don't just explain how to do it currently; fix it because nobody reads directions. Other than that it was an enjoyable Room Escape. Not the best I've seen, but "ok." Refer to escapegames24.com for examples of different puzzles and ideas. Just don't copy them (obviously).

You should be able to swipe anywhere, in the middle of the screen is best. Quick short swipes are best. But, as I said, swipes are going away in the next room(s.) Thanks for your feedback, I'm planning on making future rooms much more complex.

Well in that case you'll need to seriously adjust the control system :p. What prices are to considering for future games?

What do you mean by add on pack? Are you considering making this a paid game?

I'm going to do Room Escape:II which will feature 2 new rooms for 99¢. Then as new rooms come available, I will be adding downloadable rooms through in app-purchases, 99¢ for every room pack (which will also feature 2 rooms each.)

Sounds good. Although you might want to consider making it initially four rooms with expansions of two each. Unless they are as complex as you said earlier.

I'm hoping that a novice room-escaper will be stuck for about 20-30 minutes a room.

Just don't pull anything cheap like the code for the computer. That was totally out of the blue. I was trying things like C3, 3C, 3right3down, and 3down3right way before I got the actual code. I won't post it so I don't give it away.

well I for sure could use a little help.. How does the art over the sofa help with the computer password? Will that also lead to the combo for the desk?
