Looks like it's still coming, but no way yet to tell how freemiumy it will be based solely on the video. Did you notice that the vid had only 19 likes and 677 dislikes?!?

That says it's out now....I don't see it anywhere. Probably dislikes due to graphics not looking great and social aspects.

They acted like IAP infested, social spamming games were a good thing... Atari is becoming the new EA...

I'll still try it though, I never buy IAP on games like that so if it's obtrusive I'll delete if not and it's fun I might play a little but worth trying still but my hopes aren't high.

Even after signing up with the email it talks like the game is already out too, give me a code for a free haunted house.

I understand freedom can make some great cash but this game has so many real fans if they did it with like. 4.99 tag and no iap everyone would still buy it.

Yes, and according to Pocket Tactic's latest article, it is launching at $3 with consumable IAP to boot.

As long as the game isn't reliant on consumables and they are there as a "boost", then I'm not too worried. I was one of the few that wasn't completely annoyed by the premium with timer and consumable model in Card Wars, so hopefully this one doesn't butcher the mechanic. Time will tell; I'm not ready to write it off completely before I can get my hands on it.

I'm pretty guilty of writing off games with consumables without due process. The problem is, every time I try to keep an open mind, I find that my preconceptions are all justified.

Here's to hoping that I'm wrong about this one...

Wondering if it the Game will be a Freemium Title that Atari has the balls to ask $3 for or if it will be a $3 Dollar Game with a few iAP similar to "I like to have a pink Pony instead of a blue One and are willing to pay a Dollar for that"Paymium Game.

Not gonna blame Atari for trying to milk their Cow but already Capcom failed with that idea in the past if it comes to Mega Man and so it will be interesting to see if we will finally burry the Roller Coaster Tycoon Franchise on Mobile permanently or get a Game that does deserve to be called Roller Coaster Tycoon.

I'm wondering the same, normally it would be an instant buy for this but I'm probably going to hold off for impressions sadly as I don't want to buy a freemium game. Plus why would you get a free building like my free haunted house for signing up early if it wasn't freemium? Also says for every 5 people you get to sign up you get something else.

Pre register for free gift at http://rollercoastertycoon.com/3660fdd3

I can't link the article on my phone. But a digitalspy article discusses the game with the senior director of marketing at Atari.

Basically he states that it is a "free to play" mechanic and paying the $3 entry gets you $5 of in game currency so "you are getting more than what you pay for!"

Again, sorry I can't link the article and take this how you want, but I am going to be pretty disappointed if this is the case.

Ouch I never buy IAP like that in freemium games I don't want to be forced to buy it just to try the game....I guess it'll probably go free pretty soon after then.
