I already have Rolando, but I thought it was funny how the dude told you not to tell anyone, and the first thing you do is come home and tell all of Touch Arcade. Very nice
Why is ngmoco so popular when the majority hates their games they publish and develop? Dr. Awesome gets way too difficult and the 24 hour timer is ridiculous, mazefinger is kind of weak in getting your finger stuck on a spot, Dropship was hated because of controls and depth of perception, and Topple was average in my opinion.
Welcome to the club (I don't like Rolando either) Hah!!!!! This is the ultimate scam to pull on BB (BestBuy)!
That part in bold? Didn't happen. The best thing about Dropship was the controls, and we know this because, aside from the "touch anywhere for the controls to appear under your thumbs" the same exact dual "circle" control set up is praised by backers of iDracula. They call it "iDracula" controls when, really...Dropship had those controls first on iTouch/Phone. Just sayin'....
I never said I thought the controls were bad. I don't even have it. The reviews say the controls suck and they can't tell when walls were close to them.
Hey guys, just got back in and had an inbox full of "can I have one of your codes please?". I didn't make this thread to give them away, I made it so you guys knew about it. I am trading them, but please do not spam my inbox asking me to give you one.
Im with you. I still dont see the big deal with it. Thank God I got it for free or else I would have regret that purchase. None of my friends, about 10 of them, didnt like the game either.
Well, if you go to your store and find the cards there, I don't see why they shouldn't ring up for $0.00, but I guess a lot of stores don't have the actual card, they ship it to you instead, in which case you'd need to buy the iTunes card. But if that's the case, you won't be able to since the deal was just for last week.
I think the deal with Rolando is that it is a fully featured game. It's not a quickie 99 cent impulse buy with one mode of play. It has challenges, bonus stages and console level production values, quirky music and the platforming is pretty unique too, as you're controlling multiple rotund characters. It's also one of the few Store games that can hold it's own against a DS or a PSP title, it's controls are superlative and above all it's fun. The fact it's getting updated with more levels means that my $10 purchase becomes even more than that to me. But then I like platformers, always have. I wonder why people bought Rolando even if they don't like platformers. Do you do that on any other console? If you bought it because it was cheap at $4.99, you should have instead invested that money into another game which would have better suited your taste. No? Or are you guys more app collectors?
Beats me, I ifnd myself buying games that I typicall woulnd't play, but that's only because the price is right and I would like to see what all the hype is about. When it comes to console games, that's $60 a pop, it's a little different. Mods, this deal no longer applies, can the thread be locked?
Guess, I'm going for it later today if it is still there... have to get a 15 dollar itunes card anyways
