Bought the game yesterday and played till late night, like it much. Found some interesting stuff as well. Randomly generated scrolls ftw! =)

Glad you're enjoying it so far maev! You'll be surprised with the variety of equipment and magic available... I enhanced the selection in each category quite a bit over plain old "vanilla" rogue, but maintained a pretty decent game balance.

If you have any trouble getting to the deeper floors, try playing as one of the secret characters. Some pretty cool and amusing people to play as, that give you equipment or special abilities that could be useful in the dungeon of doom! There's a good list in my forums (link in the sig will get you there).

A big thank-you to everyone here showing support and love for RT! I can't wait to get the update out and start giving teaser shots and info for my next game. It's going to be huge with the dungeon crawler crowd! :D

Breaking news... Rogue Touch is now outselling Ravensword: The Fallen King in Japan (as of the evening of 11/27/2009).
I can hardly believe it myself, so here's photo proof of the unbelievable:

I was in third place behind Ravensword and Dungeon Hunter (called Dark Quest in Japan) yesterday. Today the landscape is completely different, and I'm certainly not complaining! This type of encouragement helps to let me know that there will be a great audience for my next game, so I need to double my efforts on it ASAP :D

Haha, yes it is alive and looking better than ever... The 32-bit apocalypse has been avoided!

In absence of an official Rogue Touch 2.0 thread, most of the posts today have gone into the version 1.6 thread here. Confusing I know, probably my fault for starting new threads as improvements were made every month back in 2009

Everyone should probably focus over there to make sure the conversation doesn't get too fragmented, and I can keep up :)
