Yeah I'm not really sure what his problem is. Well, I do, and that would be a complete lack of any patience, and he needs to get over it. I can't wait for this, as it looks like one of the better turn based strategy games.
agreed, cant wait. yeah but Mr. Dark had a go at Timo about Minigore as well, and kept postin that Alive-4-Ever smashed it.
Advance Wars + Sci-Fi + Awesome Graphics + Cheap and on iPhone = potentially amazing game. Dare I say I'm now looking forward to this more than Command and Conquer (mainly because this is something new, a breath of fresh air).
Lie. The company's twitter, this thread, their website, etc. noone has said when this will be submitted. No need to make stupid posts
Wow really? That was a nice way to be an asshole. It said on the last page that they planned to submit on the 15th.
if you wanna know why i piss off, read thru the 19 pages to find out why ; this thread start on Mar 2009 and I'm super hyper at that time, now it is Oct, 7 months man, well I think I got enough patience; but don't compare it with Minigore, minigore is a piece of crap, and rouge planet is a master piece. Great to hear it's back and still alive... congrat! look forward to it
read your own sign in bold because I like alive4ever much better than Minigore4EverWaiting, even it is out with no new content, but still crash and hang... super crappy crap crap
I will say that Rogue Planet will probably be one of the best games on the app store, and I'm the dev on Mecho Wars.
Nice of you to say nice things about a rival game i know a certain dev of a certain upcoming fighting game that did the opposite!
So lets try and work out the possible publishers. All we have to use is 'Publisher hasn't submitted it yet to stop it getting mixed up with other newly released games.' So, here are all, or most of the publishers: 1. EA Mobile, other console-turned-iphone publishers No chance, they only publish big, well known franchises. 1/10 2. Chillingo The obvious choice, but they haven't exactly got many games in the last month or so that could mess up Rogue Planet...and they normally announce it before. 7/10 3. ngmoco They always say their games a long time before launch, but Rogue Planet could get mixed up with ELIMINATE. Unlikely. 4/10 4. Gameloft My preferred choice. Although they haven't released any games that could really mix up with Rogue Planet, they have, if they are the publishers, done two things they normally do: 1. Don't reveal a game until the last minute; 2. They normally release 'full' games at launch, maybe the delay was to release a more complete game. 9/10
can't see it being gameloft, the dev's already said that rogue planet will have updates post release. gameloft games dont have the best track record with worthwhile updates. and plus i think they would make the game more well known if it was them
Luc's Company and Agharta Studios... Two of my favourite companies on the iPhone. You know why? Because they make authentic stuff and dont surf in the stupid minigames wave. A pitty that most iPhobe Users don't really know them...
My apologies, I don't really have time to read back through things, and when I do it's only a page or two. No need for troll-calling coming from you
I know, looking back at your comments you just seem frustrated, not so much trolling, trying to put people off the game which Mr. Dark WAS doing but seemed to stop. So apologies.
But the cake was there the entire time, we just didn't play along nicely. 9/11 was caused by an international terrorist organization. The dev cycle considering the team size, high caliber level of art/story, and the fact that they were working on 2 games at once, makes this a completely acceptable wait. Don't get all butthurt because they are not able to deliver on your time table. (not meant as a flame at you, I know you are as excited about the games as I am, it was meant for the haters).
Post #183 Hey Dominator246, the only reason I stated the Oct. 15th date for release is because the dev said that was the expected date the publisher would release it. If the game doesn't get submitted to Apple by the 15th, it's on them, not me. Post #162 It's my hope that they follow through and really submit this thing in a couple of days as planned. How bout you?
