Easiest way is to copy-paste the link into a browser, or wait it out to release in your appstore. Anyone know the pricing? Exact-Psience Well-Known Member Jan 12, 2012 22,664 2 38 The Work-At-Home Guy Philippines #5 Exact-Psience, Apr 16, 2014 Showing as $1.99. I'd say that it's some kind of a mix of Rogue Legacy + Heroes of Loot + Super Meat Boy ojtitus Well-Known Member Jul 7, 2010 3,228 5 38 Male Canton, Ohio #11 ojtitus, Apr 16, 2014 Last edited: Apr 16, 2014 Is there any carry over from one play through to the next, like skills, upgrades, or anything? I'm a sucker for anything roguelike and I adored Rogue Legacy, Spelunky, Metroidvanias and the other games that seem to have influenced it. Looks like another game to go on the top of my watchlist! Medic8er Well-Known Member May 25, 2009 80 0 0 Paramedic Midwest #13 Medic8er, Apr 16, 2014 I purchased it, I'm a sucker for rogue-like games, and this one has character and style, but the controls are not precise enough IMO to avoid enemies and navigate the environment. Not sure if the style and character is enough to overlook the poor controls. c_biskit New Member Mar 11, 2014 3 0 0 #14 c_biskit, Apr 16, 2014 Does anyone know if this has iOS controller support? syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #15 syntheticvoid, Apr 17, 2014 Hmmm I'm wondering this as well... mcamp Well-Known Member Dec 17, 2010 61 2 8 #16 mcamp, Apr 17, 2014 Disturbingly little being said about the graphics. As pointed out early in this thread, THE ART IS RIPPED FROM SCRIBBLENAUTS. I find this to be unsettling, regardless how the rest if the game shakes out. As far as I know, those are not open-source assets. This being the case, I have no intention of depositing my money into this guy's pockets. Shameless. Any other impressions! syntheticvoid Well-Known Member Jun 20, 2010 14,504 124 63 Musician & factory worker. a[V-O-I-D] http://apparentsymmetry.bandcamp.com #18 syntheticvoid, Apr 17, 2014 Yeah I'm just gonna have to mirror the control complaints, especially the wall jumping. If you thought the wall jumping in Lumber Jacked was off at release, this is... Quite a bit worse. If that could be taken care of, or controller support was added (better yet, both!), this could turn into quite the game... Until then, there's a certain level of frustration in regards to the physics/controls that just can't be overshadowed by the rest of the game. Medic8er Well-Known Member May 25, 2009 80 0 0 Paramedic Midwest #19 Medic8er, Apr 17, 2014 I guess I didn't pay as much attention to the Scribblenauts graphics as I was playing on my iphone and it is so small I thought they were inspired by not directly ripped from the game. I tried playing again last night and it's just not a lot of fun. The random layout of traps and enemies often make it impossible to avoid getting hit even if it had controller support. Spelunky it is not, of course that game is amazing.
