You can push the first switch toward the laser, then push the laser switch till the last switch. Then go to the other side, do the same trick, then you may finish the puzzle within 35 to 45 steps. You dont need the switch stay at the laser beam, just light them on is fine.
@Havelcek: One addition to stubbieoz' info. You *can* craft the blue boss items you need. However, those require equipment powder as material, which you can get from dismantling ones you know you won't use, or from daily quests in small amounts. As for the switch puzzle: do you have a screenshot? That'll make it easier, knowing which one you talk about. In general, you can move all pieces around in the room. You can use your slide/charge skill to move them several squares in one turn. And you can use Chains of Fate / Temptation to pull one closer to you. UPDATE: Yes, pretty much what hkguy writes. FAQ available So, I wrote a bit of a FAQ to answer questions I see frequently in the game chat. You can find it here on TA and on the official game forum here. The latter with many thanks to n1kon, who was kind enough to post my ramblings over there.
Okay, currently at level 26 and I am going to ask a dumb question. What is harder - Nightmare or Torture? Reason I'm asking is I have a big bunch of Blue torture keys and far less Purple nightmare keys. So I'm thinking torture is not as hard as nightmare. But when I go to a red doorway in a dungeon it says I am going to enter nightmare mode. There is no mention of torture mode, and I need the purple nightmare key to enter. What gives? #
You talk about decomposing recipes but on my decompose screen I'm only given the option for decomposing gear - what am I missing?
You can decompose recipes you have on your "Use" tab in the Mage's Guild. Thanks a lot for pointing that out, clarified it in the FAQ.
Nightmare is a whole lot harder than Torture. Not the best decision to put Nightmare on an earlier dungeon floor than Torture, methinks. Red portals in a dungeon are Nightmare indeed, and usually on floor 1. Torture are blue/purple-ish portals, and typically on floor 2 (of a 3-floor dungeon at the end of an area). If you plan on seriously tackling Torture, I highly recommend to drop the 20 Gems for the corresponding Portal in the Pub.
Doh, thanks Null for reminding me. I completely forgot about the blue doors.... and I've only been playing the game for the last two weeks. I feel like a right dunce......I'll go back to my corner now. #
Daskarf's travel notes May I ask if there is need to keep all daskarf's travel notes in order to get the gears? The notes started to occupy precious storage space. Thanks.
@EroNasubi: No need to keep them. Eventually you'll be able to craft Daskarf's items at the Gray Guild, the notes provide only backstory to that afaik. If anyone knows more here, please share. By the way, it's relatively easy to get a full set of Daskarf equipment (well, except the armor, thanks to an annoying Ent...) just by farming the corresponding Torture boss for a bit, and have them drop as loot.
