Hey guys, I did a search for hippo and can't find anything on how to tame him. He always gets angry and sits on me before I can tame him. Is there trick to it?
And also, the game freezing when changing islands happens pretty frequently. I tried the trick of scrolling to the top of the ship but that doesn't always work. Game seems to freeze 2/3 times when changing islands.
Thumbs-up for this overall, very impressed. I completely adored Skiing Yeti Mountain so was hoping for something ultra-special. This feels more casual, but a really excellent example of that kind of game. The stampeding bit feels lovely, just like SYM did. Special mention for that music as well, it's joyful No complaints about the ads here either, surprising how tolerable they are considering their length. Having an ad play at the end of a continued run is a nice touch too.
"Without jumping" in this case means you have to smash all the animals on the same gorilla, without jumping to another one.
I really want to like this game. The first half hour was a blast, however the progression/pacing is way off. Most missions are very easy and can be completed in one try. To get a new mission you must either wait 6 hours or watch an ad. I found myself spending nearly as much time watching ads as playing the game. This would not be so bad if there was an IAP to remove ads. Please developers, why will you not add this? Another big issue is that you receive no reward for going further. The difficulty increases with very little gain in coins. This turns the game into a grind, replaying the first 2000m over and over with no desire to improve.
Oh update, where art thou? (Don't want to pressure the game devs into rushing the final product- take your time. If anything it's a good thing that so many people are anxiously waiting for more content. But when will it come? D: )
I'm patiently waiting as well. I've got $250k saved up for all the new animal upgrades. I still have 2 jungle animals to find though. A hippo and a toucan but I haven't even seen them yet.
The lack of content is killing this game for me. I'm nearly maxed on everything and I've only been playing casually for a few days. By the time the new update drops I'll have so much money stocked up that it's going to be trivial. Enjoy the game, but they run a serious risk of losing most if their players any day now. Getting people to come back is hard when they've moved on to something else. I really think they should have launched with a third continent, or at least more animals.

It's been awhile since I did it but I remember the hardest section was when there were two crocs on each side. To get through them you have to take very sharp angles and once I dodged the first croc it was more of a rhythm thing to get past the rest. Right ,left, right, left. Also, with all the dodging, it's easy to get your thumb too close to the edge of the screen. I just paused and then reset my thumb to the middle when that happened.
iCloud sync is broken After the update I download the app on my son's iPad and is asking to start everything from scratch. Any workarounds for this issue?
