i'm just going to be disappointed. i mean that's about it really. just kinda sick of it at this point.

I think they should make something like this: (my concept) Every music game has portrait display, maybe try with landscape?
I think iPhone can handle that graphics... But EA creates some kind of "advanced" ports of mobile games. They no convert games from PSP. Look at Modern Combat or Backbreaker - they have amazing graphic and they are smooth. Look at Guitar Rock Tour, this game have not much worst graphic than Rock Band on PSP. If they only want... they can create really impressive game
ummmm: you give me THAT on iphone, and i will be impressed. its just too much stuff. all the band members, smoke, lights, crowd. i think a iphone would blow up if it tried to do that.
But they can lower the hardware requiments but deleting things like shadows or lights... I'm not a programmer but if you look at some other iphone games, i think they can really do something what looks like psp version (with little worst graphic)
Actually, it can create very impressive visuals. The iPhone 3GS/iPod touch 3rd gen can anyway. Very impressive.
The thing about this game is that I just know it is going to be over-priced like $15 or something. In retrospect, it would probably still be worth it compared to full-blown Rock Band games which alone are priced at $50, and again even though this app looks top-notch and well-polished, I still just don't feel comfortable with paying that much for a mobile app...yet this is coming from the guy who spent $10 each on both of the Rolando titles...oh well! Hope this has updates too and DLC songs!! (Really Glad to Hear Blink-182 is in the game!) Oh and I think it's crap that there's no singing, it should just be for iPhone and iTouch that have headphones with mics. I mean you would think this would be the easiest feature of all to put on a mobile phone app...it has a freakin mic!!! Use it. There should just be no singing at all then because the thing they put for the singing feature is pretty lame looking.
it will not be $15....common sense. Itll most likely be 10 bucks. and i think there are DLC. Wish they had more free songs though.
I think it's reasonable that there is no singing. I personally wouldn't use it much anyways and at least there is something there and they didnt just take it out all together. I have a feeling there should be some good DLC. That'll be a place I'm sure I'd wanna spend some money on. And really, I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't priced at the usual 10 dollar premium. All I know is TTR has never been able to satisfy me completely and I love RockBand when I've played at friends houses but never ended up getting it myself, now this will let me get it and take it with me! My best friend is also planning on getting it and since it has bluetooth multiplayer we can play together anywhere we want. I can't wait for this. Just hope it comes out really soon. Insta-buy for me.
I see the iPhone Rock Band 2 incorporating proper singing, no doubt that's something viable as an improvement and being they won't have hardware peripherals to develop, they'd be limited to what they could do. And we as the end user should just keep barracking for that - the customer is always right! I hope they bring a port of Beatles Rock Band to the iPhone too. It would sell well, the music would be brilliant fun on the go and this would be a good catalyst for them ironing out a proper singing mode. Plus, can you picture how good WiFi multiplayer would be? Even though the singing is going to be pretty fudged in this version, I think people will lap up this first release in droves so if everyone pushes for actual vocals next time around, the company will hopefully listen to us.
I personally would love if instead of releasing a Beatles RockBand (which i dont even know if they would do in the first place) they just released Beatles songs as DLC. I love The Beatles but I don't like having to have two apps for basically the same thing but just a bit of different content.
The PG review made me very excited! Online co-op sounds awesome! IF Rockband, C&C, NBA live, Eliminate and touchpets will all be release this month then this will be the greatest month ever!
They all are already submitted , rockband is supposed to come out at friday, we're probably going to get more news for other games like NFS:S and Nova, Ravensword will come out this month, and Red Alert is supposed to come out late october or early november.
I don't think there's a doubt in anyone's mind that this is going to be an awesome holiday season for iPhone games.
